I have my test coming up soon and I'm so nervous! Most people my age can drive so have felt very behind for a while with most of my friends passing when we were much younger but unfortunately I've had to wait an additional year and a bit due to the pandemic. Just wondered does anyone have any handy tips/suggestions/good or bad experiences.. I can't find any other threads for this but wanna hear them all! Thanks in advance x

I had about 4 instructors ( I changed once and decided I preferred the previous one) , god knows how many lessons. The examiner who passed me had failed me in a previous test .this was over a 5 year period.

My last test I knew I was going to pass . I think having failed before I knew how to " behave " in the test .

I’m on about 65 hours now I think, failed my test a month ago, now have the dreaded covid wait for my next test, next date is in may!!!! Praying for a cancellation! Any tips on cancellations through covid? Also my instructor is a condescending, misogynistic, racist, nasally asshole. I can’t wait for the day I pass my test so I never have to hear his nasally voice again

1990's, had a load of lessons, 2 hours at a time mainly because my instructor was good fun and we could cover quite a distance in that time. It was icy one time, he told me to take the next right. I knew what he was planning, a hill start on a really steep road so I didn't go. I said there's only one steering wheel and I've got it. He did make me go later though and I passed first time through him. Brilliant teacher and I was sorry the lessons had ended.

I failed my first test and was put off. I only started to learn again as my theory was running out. Started in the September and passed in the October. You never forget. I hated learning tho

2 years of lessons, once a week, 2 hours.
Passed 1st time due to amount of lessons.
Instructor was tough on me but he was a good soul. He had an immaculate history of his learners passing first time with minimum to no fails and i was so happy that I didn't ruin that for him! 😅
