Strong rumours that Russian state media were present at the White House Press briefing today despite not having had access there for years. Allegedly a Sky reporter recognised them and called it out to the press organisers who made a scene of entertaining them out. They would have had to get through multiple security clearances to get that far so the suspicion is it was covertly organised by the Trump admin.
It adds to the suspicion that today was planned for a certain audience in Moscow and the Russian domestic audience as a whole. They thought Zelensky would fold - he didn't.

I'm just imagining if that was Vitali Klitschko in that seat instead of Zelensky. I imagine he would have had to use a lot of restraint to stop himself throttling the both of them right there and then.

I do find it funny when far right/Conservatives/Maga lovers being up Zelenksy’s past as a comedian as if that means he’s not suitable. Z’s comedy isn’t my cup of tea but he was democratically elected and could have bounced back in 2022 but has stayed even though Putin is trying to kill him.
He looked totally bemused at times. Some say he looked like he was going to cry, but it was probably more total weariness about it all. Having already been accused of acting like a dictator, he then has to go into that environment and sit there to receive all that.

Also I don’t think Zelensky is 100% with his English. He does speak it and understand it but it doesn’t come as easy to him. Combine that with being supremely stressed, being humiliated by your so called allies, no wonder the poor man looked like he was going to cry.
