He looked totally bemused at times. Some say he looked like he was going to cry, but it was probably more total weariness about it all. Having already been accused of acting like a dictator, he then has to go into that environment and sit there to receive all that.

Being aggressively shouted at in a foreign country while looking for assurrances on help knowing your allies are now firmly on the side of the enemy as your people fight valiantly at home will do that.

The man would love nothing more than to be sitting in a peaceful Ukraine at home with his family.

True but America embarrassed itself. No matter how you feel about Zelensky, as one of the most powerful men in the world you don’t act like. You act respectful, you don’t gang up on a man who’s country has been invaded, who’s citizens have been displaced (amongst other more horrendous things), who faces death threats every hour of the day, who’s first language isn’t even English, etc.
This new breed of MAGA lovers and Conservatives talk about acting with grace and decorum - maybe they should start taking their own advice.
