At a self service or buffet I never take the top plate or tray. Feel other people will have handled it.
Have to tidy the kitchen before bed. Hate getting up to dirty dishes
Never leave the petrol tank go below half, I panic lol! My husband is the opposite he lets his run on fumes.
I’m sure there’s much, much more...
think we might be the same person!

Also my sister is the same with the fumes! She hates putting petrol in and I always get so annoyed with her. My main reason though is that having to call the breakdown company for no petrol is a waste of a call out and also it's just a completely avoidable reason to breakdown! Put petrol in your car. It's hardly a major chore if you're out anyway!

My mum used to find me hilarious when I was a child because I would never eat a packet of crisps if they were opened upside down. Nor would I eat a chocolate bar if it was broken before I opened it. I still check crisp packets are the right way up today before I open them 😂 I'm good with the chocolate now.
I cannot open crisps upside down it freaks me out when my husband does it 😐😐

...

I can only drink a hot drink if I’ve had a cold drink before it 🙃
I smell my cutlery
Seeing milk in a glass makes me gag.

All the digital clocks in my home in England, have to be set to the right time!

I have about 8 digital clocks, including the microwave, washing machine, oven, bedside, bathroom and car, to name but a few. I get very anxious if they don't say the same time, and when starts to gain - usually the oven - it has to be corrected.

My anxiety is ramped up higher when its the start/end of BST and the clocks go back/forward an hour. I know full well none of my digital clocks will be in perfect synch due to the distance and time involved to do each one. But that still doesn't stop me getting my nix in a twist about it.

I get my clothes out for morning the night before - I once went to work without a bra on as it was 6am, dark and I was half asleep. I put knickers/bra over the coat hanger of my top/bottoms so I don’t have to faff around in the drawer 😂

Always make my bed on a morning. Although I open my window (whatever the weather), pull the duvet back and air my bed while I go downstairs and have my coffee. Then I come back up and make my bed. Everyday without fail.

I’m really funny about smells and like rooms to smell nice constantly. I’m always spraying air freshener / turning the reed diffuser sticks
This could have been written by me, I do all of the above! I feel I can’t function properly at 5.30 to put clothes together and look semi normal even if it is just to go on the bus and to work 😂

I honestly thought it was just me who did these things. I can’t rest until I do them.
I honestly thought it was just me too. Its nice to know that I'm not the only one. I always think something bad is going to happen if I don't do them.

If you shop at Aldi/Lidl I'm very impressed you manage this when the checkout person scans and flings items at you at the speed of light 😂 I have to brace myself at the checkout every time like I'm about to run a gauntlet!
Ah I just fling it all back into the trolley then pack afterwards on that ledge thing behind the tills

I'm currently living with my parents for a few more days, and typical of me I had to interfere with some of their furniture tidying. Specifically, they have shelves of books and paperbacks - all of them just pushed in any old way, with a lot of them on their sides, or standing vertically but upside down.

So I had to interfere and spent a good 15 minutes putting them all standing up, with the text on the spine all pointing in the same direction.

When my dad returned and saw what I had done he wasn't best pleased, and told me not to interfere again because he felt he knew where everything was in his world of disorganized book stacking.

That was a week ago, and his bookshelves are starting to look untidy again, and I am so "itching" to put it right again, but daren't

Ok in bed i have to pull the quilt completely over me then stick my arms out, stick my legs and feet out and only have the quilt wrapped around my middle.

Can't finish a plate of food, have to leave something on the plate even if it's just a single chip.

TV volume must be on an odd number. I prefer odds to evens.

Spider check. Every room, every time.

So many of my "quirks" have already been mentioned 😂
When I hang my washing out, I like to match the colour of the peg with the clothes (VERY satisfying when they are the exact same colour) Also jeans need to be hung leg down, not pegs on the waistband) 🙄

If the duvet is tucked in, I have to pull it straight out.

Check the doors at night, not just before bed but throughout the evening when I'm passing. Check taps are off, plugs turned off and that fridge/freezer are shut properly before bed.

I HATE opening crisps upside down. If I ever accidently do it, I dont even like to eat them (I've given them to my partner before)

I always have to have a drink with a meal and watch something while I eat (antisocial I know) 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't know if this counts but I don't like trailers. I don't mind for films but if there's a new series coming out of a show I already love I won't watch the trailer cause I'd rather go in completely blind

When I was living in England up until a couple of weeks ago, I would always make a point before bedtime of making sure all my kitchen cupboards and drawers were properly closed (I would actually open and close each one just to be sure!)

I'd then check the fridge and freezer doors were closed properly, and that there was nothing left to be washed or dried on the sink drainer; and that the cutlery was in their respective places in the drawer (no mixing of dessert spoon and tea spoons!)

Oh, and I would get vexed if someone had put the salt and pepper pots in the wrong holder (both the pots and the holder are marked with a distinctive "P" and "S")

And I would wipe any congealed "dribbles" running down the sides of ketchup or brown sauce bottles too

Omg my husband claims he doesn’t like pork, made pork burritos and he asked what the meat was so I said mince. He assumed mince beef, I didn’t correct him, did he notice? No!
My boyfriend is the same he’ll just make a sweeping statement like ‘I don’t like fish’ but then he eats fish and chips and cans of tuna?! In fairness he has improved a lot since we’ve been together as he did honestly used to have the palate of a 4 year old 😂 a lot of the time when we are on holiday and he doesn’t know what stuff is I have to say ‘trust me, you’ll like it’ about a certain dish in a restaurant then he’ll fall in love with it and we have to go back a million times so he can have it again 🤪😂

I'm sure 99% of us do the same, but when filling up at a petrol station it always has to be on the pound (£30, £45, £60 etc).

When the petrol pump clock gets to £28.50 I reduce the flow of petrol into the car so that the clock slows to £28.70....£29....£29.85....£29.98...£29.99... £30!!!!)

And I get rather stressed if I go over by a penny!

Crazy ,lol
Mu husbands like this, he hates it if a penny over, me don’t care i like random numbers

Volume must be set to an even number.
Don’t care 😆 any number will do

I have to do a spider check every night before I go in bed eg look behind the bed, and chest of drawers to see if there are any spiders lurking.
Haha, I pulled fresh sheets back and one ran across the bed
