Hi, I’m going on a 3 night Disney cruise whilst in USA in October, so I will update after of that helps? We have an accessible room as I have a physical disability so will also let you know what it’s like. We are going on the Disney Wish.
If you have Instagram, I’d check out Disney good blog as they have loads of videos all Disney including the cruise and may have some information useful to you

Just to say Disney cruises are absolutely amazing - far better then the parks, the customer service is out of this world
That’s exciting to hear! There’s no point us going to the parks, it would be utter pants for my disabled child to watch everyone else going on the rides and my non-disabled child limited to try and make things fairer.
Do you have any recommendations for the door magnets?

Has anyone been to Disneyland CA for Christmas period? I am going the first week of Dec and wondering if it’ll be jeans and tshirt weather?
I used to work for Disney Cruise Line- you won't have any accessibility issues, the ships are very well thought out in that regard. Which ship/itinerary are you going on? Some of the ports may be a little more challenging.

Ended up at the new Cheesecake Factory on Vineland today. If you have a car it’s great but if you don’t and expect to go shopping afterwards be warned it is just in a car park by itself quite a way from the outlets.our countdown is now down to 16 days and I am SO excited
we have MNSSHP booked but have learned from doing the Christmas party in 2019 that we can’t do a full park day then stay for the party (I quite literally nearly passed out during the midnight Christmas parade!)
So we are thinking lazy morning and then maybe a lunch at Cheesecake Factory and a wander round super target.
Which Cheesecake Factory do people go to in Florida? I think there’s a newer one that was being built last time we went
The actual restaurant was great and food was actually better than the Mall at Millennia one!
Yep! I went in the first week of December last year. I had shorts and a tee in the day and popped a jumper and a hat on in the evenings when it got chilly. Jeans definitely not a bad idea.

Any of my lovelies who have been recently- I couldn't get a reservation for Homecomin'. Were you able to walk up at lunchtime at Disney Springs? Maybe not specifically Homecomin' but just generally? I'm gonna kick myself if I don't get some of those hot honey chicken biscuits on my trip!
I’ve not been there specifically but recommend checking for reservations the day before as a lot of people cancel reservations 24 hours before to avoid being charged, so more times often become available
We did a walk up at Frontera Cocina as the reservation didn't work for some reason. This isn't a on trend restaurant though so probably had space anyways, especially as it wasn't busy at all when we were there. They also don't take the Disney Dining even though they are listed. I would say Homcomin' would be hard to get a walkup.
Thanks Jess I will try. It is a solo trip which means I can often get in with a 'room for a small one at the bar?' plea but we will see. I’m finding it hard to get bookings for anything in advance, but looking at what’s available for the next week or so it does look like lots open up!
Got to love September, it seems a bit of normality is returning.
