Dishwasher

I'm so fed up with my dishwasher (I know, first world problems!).

The dishes come out with gritty residue on them.
I've tried
• different tablets
• using (and not using) rinse aid
• cleaning all the arms and the drain bit at the bottom, and the inside of the door
• putting less in per cycle
• rinsing off excess foodstuff before washing
• running on different temperatures
• using one of those cleaner bottles.

Any other suggestions to try?! It seems to happen on both the top and bottom drawers. Some items seem more prone to it than others.

Mines is the exact same, how old is it? Am assuming mines is bad because its old an isn't up to standard anymore, like you I've also tried everything an even done some washes with those cleaning bottles

For me anything that's glass like the cups are the worst for being all gritty an with pans it hardly washes those

I get the same gritty issue with glasses and sometimes plates.

Our machine is less than a year old so isn't age related!

Would love to know what causes it.

That’s strange I’ve never had this apart from when I didn’t refill the salt

Oh it's not just me then! Ours is about 6yo.

The annoying thing is the one at work is treated like tit and always over filled and stuff comes it spotless!
