ugh agreed. I wonder what is happening with her and finances etc, presumably she is blocked from travel, I assume she is partly supported by her parents, no idea how it is in the US but in the UK russians cannot really access money at all now. All of my Russian students are in a dire situation
You'll be happy to know that the power of positive thinking saved her♥ all the people who are suffering right now just don't have the right attitude

Edit:
Also, I don't know if you remember the first book of her book club, but Jack Edwards actually talked about it in one of his videos. I didn't need the proof that it was a pile of garbage, but it's fun hearing him talk about it in not so nice terms... Wonder what would think jade

To be fair that is the rule in some countries. I don’t know about Germany but I often travel for work and when I am coming back then if I have a COVID test done on the 5 day of being back at the latest and it is negative I don’t have to remain in quarantine. Or I can even come back with the negative test that is no older than 72 hours. These need to be the precise PCR tests though and not the antigen or rapid ones. This is not to defend her since as far as I know if you are coming from the UK you have to quarantine 10 days even if you have the negative test.
There’s a big difference between somebody travelling for work like yourself, and somebody travelling to another country to attend online classes, then travelling to Germany for a hookup

I mean, she's telling her viewers that westerners have such a negative perception of Russia, but here she is acting as if her home country exiled her. Why does she hate staying in Moscow so much?

I know some people are really struggling with remote uni, because of the time differences, but Dubai is only one hour ahead of Moscow, soooo.

I get the not be too stressed by uni part, I think that when I remember to make time for relaxing and hobbies, I am overall happier and I get better results at uni. That said, I think Dinara, Jade ecc... Take that a bit to the Extreme! Studying is still my priority, it's my job!

And all this talk about "making a difference"... okay, but how? Talking about positivity on YouTube? Creating a business where women can not work when they are on their period? (Dinara's plan)

To make a real difference they could not go out every day all the time during a global pandemic?
Social distance? Do not travel so much right now?
But that's just what they tell their subjects to do! Us common people should definitely "stay safe! Stay home and social distance!" While they do what they want because they can't possibly miss out on their experiences! Their experiences are so much important than everyone else's!

Following this line of thought Dinara also said that she won't "restrict" her travels because for some people travelling is a necessity, and I was like ?????? What does that mean?????? Would I like to be somewhere else on holiday right now? Well yes! Can I do that? No, now that's not a good idea! I too had to cancel a few trips for this Christmas season Dinara, but yeah I guess that for her is a NeCeSsIty so it's okay!

I can't find the place where I originally read it on her insta... I don't know if she changed it or if it just disappeared from her stories or something
wtf is this? cannot work on their period? I have heard this suggested elsewhere (I think in South Korea you can take sick leave for it?) but surely this just stigmatises it more? like yeh periods can be painful, but unless you have some kind of condition it should not be debilitating. omg so much rage, so some people have to travel so she should for fun? 100% anti vaxxer. she reminds me of trump supporters and their obsession with "freedom"

Im slowly starting to be able to work again and Scotland looks like it might be going back into lockdown and I’m so angry, I’m tempted to email a link to Dinara’s IG post to Minerva to complain about her travelling to Scotland before England goes into lockdown

I’m not going to do it, but I’m so mad at her right now
I've seen a few people doing it-my dad is English and I spent a decent few years in childhood living in England so I know a lot of English people-and it drives me insane. I've been back at uni for two months now, haven't seen anyone but my flatmates or my boyfriend or the cashier at Tesco, and now in the central belt we're stuck at home. I wish people just respected the roles and realised that if residents here can't go out exploring, they probably shouldn't be coming here as tourists.

something that made me wonder a lot was when she mentioned that she's not of russian heritage and her parents native languages (both of them) are not russian either. she has stated in the past that she has experienced racism/xenophobia in russia because of her ethnicity...
do you guys know what is her ethnicity? i know that she hasn't wanted to reveal it but i don't know why she doesn't say it
I'm guessing she is of Tatar heritage based on her name and her appearance.

She makes me so angry. Even is she legitimately had to go to Dubai for some work, which what could that even be. Then she still went to Germany to visit her bf, she went to turkey to visit family before going home to Russia. What’s her excuse for that. People like her are the reason the pandemic is still so rampant. She’s preaching and yelling about love and self worth and all that bs, and continues to not give a f about anyone else than herself and her travel lifestyle.

She's such a narcissist and clout chaser. Also who thinks saving money is a BAD thing? That's the silliest thing I've ever heard. She's denser than I thought.

It's sorta sad that without Minerva she doesn't have an identity anymore. I thought it was the best, most superior uni ever? Apparently not. I thought they lined you up with some gross Silicon Valley job right after you graduate? Apparently not.

Thoughts? I don't live in the UK, so I don't really know if what she's saying is right... I mean, maybe the lockdown had already been discussed? In Italy the new restrictions have been declared a couple of days ago, but we already knew them for about a week at that point!
She was maybe in Scotland before the English lockdown was announced, but the stricter regulations in Scotland were old news by then. Fair enough, Stonehaven/Aberdeen aren't in the stricter regulations right now but they have been previously and the entire central belt is in lockdown, so I have little sympathy for her.

This girl really doesn't want to get a job or do any actual real work.
"So Dinara, what do you do with your degree now that you finished Minerva?" "I offer consultation about Minerva and talk about books and manifestation" LOL she is a joke, and this uni is the biggest pyramid-scheme scam ever.

There's absolutely no reason she should still be in Aberdeen.
Why is she still in Aberdeen. Scotland's restrictions stated even before English lockdown that you shouldn't travel if it's not absolutely necessary. I moved to Scotland for my studies few months ago but still haven't seen my boyfriend who lives in England BC of the restrictions. I haven't seen him since January. Before I came here Aberdeen was in a lockdown BC of one superspreader. Dinara is exactly that type that would manage to make that happen again.

If she wants to keep travelling she needs to learn to respect the countries she goes into. Following their rules and laws is a damn good starting point.
Yeah but it's just our authoritarian governments in England and Scotland keeping the poor people down and making them stay at home when they don't need to

The fact she's not even trying to defend and/or explain her actions speaks volumes. Instead she steers the conversation in a different direction to garner sympathy. And how "nice" does her followers have to be in the comments for her to acknowledge their arguments?

I also think Minerva are also ridiculously disorganised with visas.

Remember Jade speaking about the fact that she was told at something like 10pm that her papers/photos/Covid test for her Korean visa had to be ready by something like 10am the following day?

I know Jade also had trouble with her American visa the first time around, but that may have been due to her own disorganisation

Korea is currently letting people in. Depending on the country you are from. (The Uk is fine!). Student visas are still running for most countries. Two weeks quarantine for everyone - and if you break it you risk deportation. And they are serious about it - no leaving to go to the shop !!
I should’ve been clearer- was thinking about Minervans lol. Korea never closed their border I don’t think, just enforced a quarantine.

Taiwan is open too as far as I’m aware- you just have to quarantine so I’m confused why minervans cant go. Maybe they aren’t issuing student visas.

I was going to say something similar but I don’t think I’m knowledgeable enough or the correct person to comment on Russian politics, but I was thinking the exact same hahaha.

In a Q&A she refused to speak about her opinion on Russian politics because she was too scared, she should be looking at her own country before she starts speaking negatively about authoritarianism and governments protecting their citizens
Yeah she needs to realise that the rules aren’t to ruin her insta grid but because people are dying. How out of touch. Yeah she’s from Russia as well which makes her comments ridiculous 🙄 she wouldn’t say that about her own country. And she’s probably one of those people who think China/Taiwan is the same thing... but perhaps that’s a topic for another time 😂
