Another DS refugee here (from the LBC thread). Banned for life after 17 years, for expressing opinions that didn't please the mob of potty-mouthed bullies who rule the thread now.
I found out Ebonyhamster was banned from several different forums before DS.

They're happy in their echo chamber. There's about 5 posters left on there that post regularly.

The UK neighbours thread has gotten a bit titchy, apparently people are posting like they are right and noone else is about various characters or trying to act superior and post spoilers without hiding them because they're watching at Australia pace since C5 stopped.
Funnily enough I find it similar in almost every other thread on DS! There's always someone who thinks they're the biggest fan of a character and/or the show talking down to everyone else in amongst the cliques.
There's several irritating posters on the soaps forum too treated like 'stars'. MoMouse, JB, the oft mentioned MonaLisa6200 (or something similar), Silvia_Tennant, those who MUST START THE EE THREADS OMG!!! or there's war (I occasionally read them but rarely post in them but I'm always amused at the newbies asking why it's always the same people posting them)
