I think you'll you'll find you can't question why people listen to something they don't like. It's in the rules. Support posted them on the front page of the thread.
It happened a few days ago when FM pauljoanss queried why they listen. Bangla obviously put the poster right. pauljoanss had the perfect reply though.

I just couldn’t understand why the mods let a relatively small number of people create so many problems on there. And quelle surprise at who got Tellystar banned...I’ve never known anyone to get so many people banned singlehandedly. Well she can bloody well stay in that forum all by herself then!

Years ago I had a little Twitter exchange with Iain Dale and I basically said I didn't know why he bothered with the forum because most of them weren't interested in discussion and the minute he popped in he just got abused. He hasn't bothered now for a long time.
Such a shame. To have an actual LBC presenter willing to engage on a forum is very unusual and could have been quite enlightening. I remember him explaining about how the topics were for the show was chosen.
For the newbies in exile who salivate at the words Meghan and Harry I strongly suggest you keep out of the threads about the right royal pair or you'll get upset...they take no prisoners

Anyway everyone knows it was Gordon The Gopher's autobiography "Why I squeak like a Girl" that outed Phillip Schofield. If you had Schofield's hand up your backside for three years you would squeak that high.
They must have known about Schofield I saw a Spitting Image sketch from the 80's that pretty much said he was gay

Back to ID, the Nasties will never forgive or forget what happened a few years ago. Fair enough, it is their right, but as you said, it was good to see a presenter take time to engage with FMs on DS, whether we agreed with him or not.
She posts like many a nurse would with an over-inflated sense of importance.
DS is owned by a massive company but a lot of these smaller forums are run by individuals and quite often at their own expense for software and bandwidth/servers. If it stops being fun and nothing but aggrevation then they will pull the plug.

She was on DS yesterday having a victim party with James - both serial reporters and not giving a tit who they got banned or insulted and both now trying to make out how misunderstood they are and how it was everyone else and how nice they are. She even brought up how she was followed around the forums by 'the pack' even though she was the one who kept responding to posts made by the people she so say was trying to keep away from and kept on commenting until they got so fed up with her that they responded and she then played the victim and reported them resulting in all the posts getting removed so there was no record of what she had been doing to instigate the issue. She's also trying to say how she was trying to be nice by wishing my mum a happy birthday but it was in vain - it was a nice gesture and was appreciated but what she fails to mention is that I thanked her for her best wishes and we exchanged pleasantries about nice things to do for someone's birthday. What made it in vain is that she then reverts to form and carries on as normal - one swallow doesn't make a summer! There doesn't seem to be any awareness of how they actually come across even though you would think they would wonder why they fall out with so many other forum members - it can't always be down to everyone else.
Philip Schofield was the reason I found Tattle. I was looking for tea and found this site. Pages and pages of the stuff.

I can't say I had any problems with Tanya but I wasn't even on DS for most of last year well apart from a few posts in the Wrestling Threads but I didn't even visit GD as I was just bored with it all.

I just felt she was in every thread mouthing off and getting offended yet being ‘too tired and done with this’ to actually contribute. I had to resist the urge to ‘u ok hun’ everything she said, but then I did and I got suspended, surprisingly. Not sure what I expected but felt good.
There was one DS member that I hadn’t seen post for a long while.
