There's a bloke who posts a lot on DS on the soaps forum. I happened to go into the general discussion thread and read a post by him where he asked for advice on how to stop stroking his nipples. He said that when he was just talking to folk, he would unconsciously stroke his nipples and would only notice when people pulled a shocked face! Every time I read any post of his after that, it's all I could think about!
Yes, the reasoning is that since politics is on LBC all day, it's fine to discuss in that thread.

If it is true, then its their fault for not banning the offenders. They allowed some to get away with murder. I suppose the mods werent clever enough to know what was legal or illegal.

I’ve never understood the level of criticism directed at Occy either. Personally his contributions never really bothered me, though I can see why some may find him perhaps mildly (only very mildly) irritating. But still, he was harmless. Much, much worse people on DS. In fact Occy I don’t think even scores at all on a 1-10 of troublemakers/nastiness/problematic.
Mind you, the Lego fetish guy did my head in and I did end up blocking him in the end!

the entire place relies on clicks there seems zero point going there anymore.

Ive always found his posts odd at times , but nothing offensive , sometimes replies with one opinion and then the opposite to someone else , but i think thats just to try and remain in the conversation
I really felt sorry for him back in January when he posted how scared he was of the virus, and that was 100% down to the usual suspects filling the thread will BS and scaremongering, that was when i tried to show why he neednt be scared , and then the whole thread jump aboard the bandwagon of trying to get me off the tread , by using their "facts"
its essentially bullying , i dont really care but its awful if someone turned up for a proper chat and they are met with hate, then it can make people miserable, and Occy got a fair bit of being mocked by them all on there , so i'm not surprised he is strugglingi deleted my account so i cant go back on to back him up
Would that still hold true if they started posting things that saw the politics section pulled?
It is also clear that many can't be trusted to discuss sensible politics on DS, without the added nastiness. So why they continue to allow it seems really stupid. Especially as it could set them up for further problems in the future.

Truly everyone has been amazing since I joined, Never knew about this place until DS closed the Saggy a thread
for those that don't know it was a long running thread about Philip schofield when he posted those naked pictures of himself
and it became the main thread for any stories on him.
This site is not openly hostile to DS members.
It is hostile to the a$$hole DS members, whom have 'gotten off' on making good and tolerant members time an absolute misery.
I can't say we ever had any nasty exchanges, so welcome!
