She was a scary, scary individual. While she obviously had vulnerabilities (I remember seeing a picture of her many years ago when she was not so careful about what she put online and what she linked to), she came across as very concerning and potentially dangerous.
Was'nt she in a wheelchair ? Or was that someone else ?
I don't recall that detail but when people saw her picture it did explain things at least somewhat.
It's concerning she seemed able to travel all over without supervision as she did seem to cause problems for others. Made me wonder about her family situation, I think she had her mum at least.
Monalisa was the one who was obsessed with Phil & Shirley from EastEnders, right. Her comment about Phil digging a grave with his "bear hands" became an unintetional running joke on the forum.
Anyone remember Pink Teddy ? He was the one who set up a .GOV petition to have someone reinstated on DS after they were banned.
I miss the General Discussion and Politics forums. As nasty as they could get, especially politics, the absolute fruitloops on there made me feel better about myself!

Has anyone ever had trouble when signing up to DS ? I've attempted a few times in the past my accounts have never been activated.
Have you been a member before/banned. They check IPs addresses and the area you are in.
Digital Spy has been having ‘Bad Gateway’ or ‘Vanilla’ loading issues for the best part of a week now, it’s really running slow

it'll be that crappy Vanilla software they use for the forum. Noticed for a few weeks now that the CSS seems to be a bit messed up - well on Firefox at least - where the search box is constantly overlaid on the top right corner of the screen for instance. Bet there's been an update at Vanilla's end and has totally ducked it. It happened before a few years ago.
The words everybody hates ... 'there's been a software update'
I just wish their search engine was decent. It used to be but they buggered it years ago and never fixed it.
I used to put things in their search engine and it would bring up no results. Put it in Google and it would bring up the DS page straight away.
I can't sleep. I'm reading this thread with great interest. I was a regular on DS back in the day and recognise a lot of the usernames mentioned here.
