You should each award yourselves a badge of honour. I'm not banned from DS (yet) but hardly ever visit or post, now. Maybe I could go out in a blaze of glory, too. I have Philip Schofield to thank for my arrival on Tattle.
Anyone seen the chose about the "DS Soap Awards". The wrong person started the thread, there was a war, and now they are both "hosting" together. What a total tit show. Who cares that much. I had to laugh at Mr.Pitkin telling them all to "GROW UP!!! NOW!!!!" on every second post and Tanya telling a story about the time she hosted an award ceremony and hooked up with whoever it was.
It was complete carnage. Dullire started the DS Soap Awards a few weeks earlier than it normally starts when the regular host, Rita’s Kabin, does it and so people kicked off as it looked deliberate so that he/she could get a head start. But then everyone took sides and DS had to close the thread in the end. That original thread whilst it was still open was a lot of fun as an onlooker
But as you say they’ve now called a truce and after ‘behind the scenes negotiations’, dullire & Rita’s Kabin are hosting it together. The soap awards part is fine but the forum part where they award forum members various awards is a load of backslapping nonsense where the in-crowd award other members of the in-crowd awards

I think I mentioned this on here before on one of those “count to one million” threads (WHAT is the actual point to those threads btw?) and when they were reaching the milestone “non regulars” began to contribute and the tantrums that someone not in the gang would take the million spot was HILARIOUS

God, I just read that Soap Awards thread. StantheOstrich, Sorcha, daisydee, etc all pathetic!
My favourite are the ones who create their own series of strictly and just make up all the shows every week.

And never returns to the threads, apparently? There was another before him that did the same, can’t remember their name though. Could be the same person!
Users on DS seem to think it is a reincarnation of "Endizo" or something similar. One of the people who was loving the soap awards drama was Meadows, who many are saying is former poster Ben Thistlewait as well. Both posters seem to enjoy annoying the regulars, which is quite funny.

went on that forum recently because I wanted to find out something about an Eastenders episode and saw a mod has made a sticky post telling off members of the soaps forum for starting “soap wars” and threatening bans for those that display toxic and clique-like bullying behaviour
(erm, doesn’t that apply to all their sub forums?)and the resurrected Soap Awards that was also stuck to the top has now been removed. The closing date was 18th July so it must have all kicked off again. In its place, DS Mods have put up a poll about what to do about the soap awards going forward.I

Does anyone else remember when the mods were trying to recruit regular posters as "forum hosts"? There was a certain sector of the DS population falling over itself. I think the plan was shelved pretty quickly.
