On another note, is anyone else absolutely cringing at her with the abaya, going on about how she likes to dress more covered up? With the clip right before she’s wearing a tiny dress. It just seems a little silly and forced, especially because the only time she’s seen wearing an abaya is when she’s talking about this sponsorship on youtube or makes an insta post on it. Lol I dunno, I’m just wondering why would an abaya company give DIANA an abaya ….. It’s the complete opposite of her aesthetic and style.

Personally I don’t think people should wear abayas if they don’t have the intention to cover up. Like I’m Muslim myself and I don’t wear a hijab, doesn’t mean I’m going to wear an abaya because I think it looks cute when I don’t feel brave enough to wear a scarf. The Dubai vlogs are boring because she keeps trying so hard to make them exciting but it’s the same diluted crap over and over again: getting ready, shopping, eating, going out and drinking. Diana’s always been a lazy and inconsistent youtuber but she has needs to be innovative with her content with new ideas and creativity if she wants to make it as an “influencer”. Mental stability is also necessary to sustain an influencer career because it doesn’t seem easy.

Not sure if it’s just me …but the whole “i want to travel and be free and live my best life and look hot” thing is just old and childish. It’s also just a fake ass life. Most people don’t have such exciting lives and like relatable content. Goals, ambition and hustling is cute. Diana has been doing the same thing for years. Being stagnant isn’t cute. If you’re looking back at your life 6-7 years ago and you’re still doing the same shit (and you’re a grown ass adult) then you need to re-evaluate some things.

You are definitely right. I have been following her for 3-4 years and she has always been lazy and inconsistent with the videos. If she really wants to be a big influencer, she needs to start uploading videos more regularly. To generate more followers she would have to upload 2-3 videos a week. So not only every 1-2 weeks a weekly vlog, but also upload videos in between.

Yes, unfortunately, she has hardly developed personally. She had the same struggle with Dubai as she did with London. I think she just doesn't know what she wants to do in life. Also she won't be young forever and I don't think Philip will accept her lifestyle in 10 years. He seems as if he longs for a more modest life than she does, so not moving all the time etc.

Why does everybody suddenly want to own vca Alhambra bracelet and Loro Piana summer charm. People are so annoying with their “old money” aesthetic. There are very few genuine old money families in the world and they don’t even dress that way. It’s so cringe when people try to emulate, because it’s evident they don’t actually give af about these things or even like them, just purchasing for status. I love fashion too but my God, I’d rather spend my hard earned money on entry level designer brands and actually save for a property. The whole “buy an Hermes bag it’s an investment” is laughable, a friend I met at uni has been trying to sell her Kelly bag for several months but can’t get a decent offer. House full of designer but you own zero property will never make sense to me. You can tell Diana is super careless with money, I feel bad for her bf because you can tell he’s not into it.

THIS!!! People prioritising materialistic items over properties will never make sense to me. Don't get me wrong i love bags, shoes, and jewellery as much the next girl but buying these things just because of the status is the stupidest thing ever. Firstly, VCA Alhambra bracelets have existed long before the influencer world came about and secondly, VCA has other beautiful jewellery lines and lastly there other beautiful jewellery brands out there. They're are so predictable. Same with Loro Piana, they have other shoes and correct me if i'm wrong but are summer charms even suitable for UAE weather? Remember when people bought things because they actually liked them not because of how a certain item would make them look?

Diana uploaded a new vlog and im speechless...she's trying to be Matilda so hard that even when she vlogs/speaks sounds different.. this girl dont have personality im honesty SHOCK. The vlog is basically a day of 'work' in her life. Im 100% sure that she will try to build a brand like Matilda but being honest for achieve that you need to be consistence and she's not. Her cheeks totally have filler. I had a friend who did her fillers in Dubai and they basically have the same technique, looks horrid and puffy after a while and you would need to get them removed. She also removed her lip fillers and put them back in and added a lip flip but still denies it

I have to say that some years ago I really liked her but she is becoming more and more crazy. I did not know the thing with Matilda because I deleted Instagram a few years ago but after I read all the comments I looked her up and I was speechless about the similarities.
I mainly watched her vlogs because I was interested about her life in Sweden. Now she is like every other basic influencer. I did not like that she moved to Dubai because for me Dubai is a big NO NO regarding woman’s Rights, Human rights in general and the poor conditions normal people life there. I also saw changes the more she went to Dubai. Her new vlog was extremely boring only showing how she takes pictures and is eating, that’s it. For me it has nothing to do with entertainment anymore. I also find it disrespectful to be in an foreign country and to dress like her (especially in an Muslim country). It was soooo cringe and uncomfortable to see all the woman in the cafe with hijabs and fully clothed and she walking in with a mini skirt. How much disrespect does she want to show?

That Phillip profile is so interesting. My understanding of what I am reading there is that he always had / has his own "real job" outside of helping Diana with her influencer stuff.

I wonder how is the deal they have in terms of money but from my end, it reads as if he helps her girlfriend with the "formal" part of the business (invoices, answering emails, closing deals) and she is focused on the recording / shooting pics / picking outfits part of it.

The thing is that Diana now is reaching a point where is likely that an agency will contact her to represent her for good rather than being an independent freelancer influencer.

Social media personalities really have the capacity to confuse us and question reality. When the hell did Diana become this bougie high-end, bangin’ body, mysterious-old-money girl?! Honestly, its a pretty big jump from her not-so-long-ago Princess Polly/Fashion Nova days. Someone also mentioned here that she’s looking much thinner. And I did noticed… her body looks BOMB! I’ve been following her for years, her body didn’t look like this when she was busting her ass at the gym and her diet daily! She also hasn’t always been a super skinny girl (which I loved about her). If she was workin’ hard for that bod, just know that she would SHARE IT.

Someone asked her about her body/weight loss the other day, she answered on her stories with the same answer that every suddenly slim influencer gives us: ‘you have to transform your eating!’ Or something to that effect.

There has been a recent uptick on the amount of people online that have drastically changed their body types to be much slimmer and saying it’s due to daily walks and watching what they eat. Diana is one of them.

At the same time, she noticeably took a step back in her influencing ‘career,’ yet she appears to be making more money. The math is not mathing, y’all! Something’s obviously going on in the background. She’s lowered her engagement and reduced her online presence and chalked it up to a big life change. Like… what happened to weird, relatable, quirky Diana who’s not always trying to catch a bougie vibe?! Where’d her friend Ahm?! Where’d you get all this money if you’re barely working, how are you casually buying thousands of dollars of stuff? In this economy, babe?!

She posted today that she’s doing an LPG treatment which made me realize she’s just another influencer who messes with their face and body, shows of an effortless and lavish lifestyle online when there’s a whole reality to it that we are in the dark about. Diana is becoming a social media case study for me because somethin' is up!
