Tiffany are an actual swiz. Think I'm gonna pay £150 + £10 postage for repairs on those bracelets....one of which I've already paid £150 in repairs on twice where it's broken....
They only cost me £150 each when I got them (currently £260...) but the repairs now far outweigh the value or worth. No sentiment so...time to say goodbye! I've emailed back saying nope, not paying that.

Well. Tiffany ignored multiple emails from me asking when my broken bracelets would be returned. So...I found the ceo email and said I just want them back and nobody will reply etc.

Sorting the repairs for free due to volume of previous repairs required and being completely ignored by the UK CS Team . Good old American CS (CEO/Executive Office is based in NYC)

Has anyone got the apc grace bag? Just wondering if it scratches easily?
If you can get to their Lexington street store they have aged versions of a few of their bags that’ll give you an idea of their durability. IMO they age really nicely. I have scratched mine with a ring, but I personally don’t mind stuff like and prefer how the older battered ones look lol.

Thank you I didn’t know that! I’m up north but may possibly visit London before Xmas.

Hi all! Does anyone have recommendations on a designer brand of fidget / spinner ring please? I would love one for everyday wear! Thank you
Not really “designer” but charlottes web specialise in and do a lovely selection and some of them you can select the gemstones . Here are two of mine.

Strathberry flash sale is on just now with 20%, wondering if it's worth holding off for black Friday or not. Does anyone know

Hold off ime! Brands seem to do Black Friday a couple of weeks before starting their sales with bigger discounts, so it makes sense that if they’re doing a small amount off now, BF discounts will be bigger. The real question is whether to play chicken until the actual sales (but BF tends to include more stuff tbh)!

Seems mixed opinions online but tbh if be raging if I get it now and then it's cheaper in two weeks

Disclaimer I don’t know anything about Strathberry themselves with this comment this is more general BF chatter - but there are CRM/email search engines you can play around with, you can also just use Twitter/Insta search to see what they posted last year.

IMO/ime Black Friday has been very same-y for the last 5+ years, brands don’t want to do crazy discounting as it isn’t in their best interests, plus trains customers to wait for discounts/cheapens things. Brands have been increasingly more interested in loyalty and/or incentivising higher order values so you (or any one looking to shop ahead of BF, anywhere) may miss out on something like points or a voucher scheme or buy more save more that launches on BF, but unless you’re buying a lot does that rly matter? Also you’re nearly mid month so could always buy & return under your old order id to recoup the difference. Funnily my husband wrote to a (sports shoe) brand as he’d bought some shoes and then they’d emailed him the BF preview, they just refunded the difference straight away

ETA - forgot the old gift with purchase - which will be overstock they want to get rid of so pls don’t let that influence you! Again who cares it’s shit they couldn’t shift the other 11 months of the year x

Thanks for this. Yeah so people mostly said online that black Friday last year was better than their flash sale but only on selected items but also that post Xmas sale was even better. But then again the bag I'm looking for is black so not like a seasonal colour. It's a good idea to buy now and then if cheaper to return and repurchase. Will have a look at their policies! Thanks for all this info

All of this screams overstock to me, so you’re at the mercy of the Gods there so personally I wouldn’t wait. If you’ve got your heart set on a bag then buy it, you can game things a bit with the returns window, and just enjoy the bag!

Don’t know if they are still ‘fashionable’ but I bought an orange longchamp Le pliage in France. Caught my eye and couldn’t come home without it

This just came up on my FYP, quite taken aback at just how many Polyester dresses she managed to find I understand there can be some benefit to a small % of it to give structure in outerwear, but there’s no reason any of these dresses need to be >50% polyester, surely?! Some are 100%

I'm not surprised, and frankly that silk dress was quite reasonable. Long silk dresses will cost hundreds, so a high street polyester version will usually do the job for occasion wear. I agree that those synthetic ones she was looking at were wildly overpriced, however.
