Is anyone else unimpressed by winter boots this year? I've ordered a few pairs now and not been very impressed. I've actually started buying sandals for next summer instead

I’m still wearing my dway slides as it’s still pretty mild here!

Not really designer but just bought a pair of LK Bennett heels online. They don't fit but I love them and want to buy the right size. They costed £5 to deliver though and they expect me to pay £5 to return it. I then I have buy the right size and pay £5 to deliver that and hope it fits .

Think of the money you would be spending on fuel and then parking charges. That’s how I justify the postage charges

Thankyou, it was my grandma but she was 94 so had a long life!
It doesn’t fit much in, it comes with two inserts (a card holder and a little zippy pochette) but I leave those out to make more space. So I can fit my glasses, iPhone, car keys, house keys and my bank cards. It’s fine if you just carry essentials, and even better if you don’t need to carry glasses!

I feel your pain with the glasses, they take up so much space in a small bag!

Not designer wear really, just beauty. Got 25% off Hourglass (and most things) at Space NK whereas Hourglass themselves are only doing 20%. Look fantastic is up to 40% too. Just got presents but no designer bargains for me. I wanted some McQueen trainers and ended up paying full price as nowhere discounted had my size ‍

Yes!! I shop there too but, sometimes they can ride a bit short. I love them though!

I stayed away from these threads a) because I felt I was being enabled and b) I was getting paranoid about sharing stuff I had and if people might know me and connect the dots.

Anyway. How are you getting on with your Chanel now? Some of you may remember I got the Chanel trendy and I massively regret it now the bar on the top is so scratched as is the inside of the bag from my keys and loose make up. The lambskin is just so delicate. I just want a mini flap in caviar now (no enabling please )

Oh no! I fear I may have played a part in that enabling, I’m a saddo and only use mine for ‘best’ I use my Soho for the daily battering! I also left my sticker on the metal for ages then took it off.
I was enabled into buying a WOC and wish I’d got a mini flap too - for the extra it would’ve been worth it. Now I think I’m priced out so no enabling from me (unless I’m in an airport somewhere )

Ok guys so the vintage Chanel bag I’ve been trying to hunt down is not actually vintage but I still can’t figure what the name is and what season it’s from I’ve only seen two girls own it and they don’t even know the proper name. Somebody please help me try to find it

I know not high end designer and I think someone has asked before but what do you all think of the Marc Jacobs tote bag? I’m thinking about getting a small or mini for work/ lunch bag.

My sister is getting it for Uni. It’s seems like practical and durable bag. It’s also super cute!

Has anyone ever sold via VC? I've listed an item there and had an offer...then I looked at Trustpilot and wanting to remove my bag from sale tbh...

From what I’ve heard VC is a lot better for a seller rather than a buyer.

I have them and they are true to size. I am a size 6 (39). They are lovely but need some breaking in as they are quite clompy, gave me blisters the first couple of times I wore them.

What’s everyone’s opinions on designer homeware? This is the only thing I have in mine. I do love this mat, but weirdly I feel like I’m not a fan of 99% of it (Versace home makes my eyes bleed) I also feel like it’s a bit unnecessary but I don’t feel that way about shoes, bags and dresses I have stored in the wardrobe

I have Ralph Lauren dining sets as they match my dining room the most out of everything else I could find. I also have some of their bedding. But that’s about it

Whilst I agree about the Chanel lambskin and I said before I regretted getting my trendy I don’t actually and I still love it even after it broke, would never sell it.

Think my only real regret purchase was the Dior sling back shoes, loved them to look at just unwearable for me but I sold them for what I bought them for

I agree even though it does bother me it doesn’t stop me from buying unfortunately
