David Walliams

It came from someone quite high up in publishing - she hasn't directly worked with DW but has been told by several people that have worked with him, that the sister story is true. I trust my friend 100%
The thing is I could believe he tried to put it in to weird staff/readers out, more than I believe it’s true. It’s about right that he thought it would be “funny”.
It would be pretty wild that someone in the 2000s would genuinely say they shagged their sister and be entirely bewildered that other people thought it shouldn’t be repeated.

David’s sister is two years older than him.
If there was any sexual relationship she being older would surely make her the abuser?
Depends on the relationship, sometimes the older sibling doesn't necessarily hold the power in the dynamic, especially if the parents favour the younger one (because they are male, for instance).

I agree. It’s making me think that it’s not true at all - but he thought that the shock / horror reactions would be hilarious. He would laugh it all off, saying of course it’s not true, etc. Not thinking for a moment, how his sister would feel about it.

It's probably one of those things that people make up and it just runs because no one connected is going to give it publicity by coming out and denying it

A bit like the story of Beckham having a kid with a teacher at Harper's school.

No because unless you're on a site like this you wouldn't have even heard about it.
But we know the DM and other media outlets stalk Tattle for their stories so you’d think if there was anything in it they would have reported it.

Given what little I know of DW I reckon he's more likely to misuse his sister's familial bind/bond, feelings & reputation than 'knowing' her. He is a formulaic narcissist, creep & all round git.

Of course I could be so wrong & his sordid tale be true.

This isn’t true.
There was a character who was a teacher called Ms Tutelage and had curly hair, which caused Jack Monroe to absolutely lose her tit about “racism” because she’s never heard the word “tutelage” before so she decided that it was a made-up word mocking the characters race, race inferred because she had curly hair and a “made up” or “funny sounding” name.

Walliams can duck off though. I saw him and Matt Lucas at the start of their careers and they were near getting attacked by the audience they were so vile.
Do you remember the Chinese boy callec Brian Wong who could do no wrong? JM missed the point (as per) but he really is a raging racist.

The more viewers they have.....the more them and other media outlets will think the public are happy to brush it all under the carpet....

WILTY used to be one of my favourite programmes......but I refuse to watch this one

Same! We were watching Paddington 2 on BBC 1, I turned it off fast when I saw what was next!

I thought he came across as mean spirited throwing insults at the other participants.
Wouldn’t have done himself any favours with that appearance.

There's celebrities who go on game shows and chat shows who are happy to rip the piss out of themselves. He never is. He always has to be putting someone else down, under the guise of 'jokes.'
