There’s no issue with the baby having his name but I don’t think the mum can’t say she’s ‘protecting her identity’ when she’s named her Grohl, it’s not like it’s a mega common surname.

The thing is, we don't know what goes on behind closed doors, his wife might have known about him having flings/affairs, tbh, I should imagine that goes with the terrority being married to a rockstar, this girl might have deliberately gotten pregnant, but then he should have used protection. As a wife/ mother myself, I could never forgive this.
I don’t believe his family knew of his cheating, he’s always played the “nice guy family man”, which has now been completely destroyed. Maybe he struggled with losing 2 important people in his life in such a shoe space of time, lost the plot a bit and found comfort in a groupie’s vag, whatever the reason it’ll be interesting to see where he goes from here, career and family-wise
