Josh Freese is an excellent drummer (his work with A Perfect Circle is just 🤌) so I'm sure he won't be short of work.
I'm dipping my toe into conspiracy theory territory here but what if they replace Josh with Taylor's son? This would overshadow Dave's discretions when they do make their come back. Lovely story, son replaces late father in his band. Most people will be talking about that, not Dirty Dave.

My brain went in a different direction and wondered if him being fired was in any way about something to do with the baby.

I did think the same, use Taylor's son, but I think most folks won't forget what Dave has done
Long life fan...its been downhill since Taylors passing. Im not really a fan anymore...I cant separate the two. (Taylor possibly taking drugs due to tour pressure, Dave being an absolute fool and then the post above)
I still feel there’s some truth in the article that people in the music industry contributed to then rescinded.

Can't bear imagining the same happening to Shane Hawkins, if thats who will be replacing Josh. I remember reading the articles when Taylor died and believe he was being overworked.
