That had something to do whith something Violet tweeted about Taylor, that wasn't even critical of her (in response to the private jet use, she tweeted: "Why can't Taylor Swift just drive like everyone else?"). As usual the internet and Swifties, not getting sarcasm, went bananas on her. And Taylor, once again, was bad for not telling her fans to get a grip.
Nothing wrong with a bit of banter, if Dave had stopped his rant after the errors tour, it would have been a funny quip.

in fairness, I don’t think we can hold celebrities responsible for parenting their fans on the internet. If you have a platform and you tweet something, be prepared for responses - good and bad. Someone will always argue with you, that’s not Taylor’s responsibility - she isn’t the twitter police
