It’s weird, I used to love following her and Callie for fashion but they both just don’t really post much about fashion anymore? And when they do it feels very inaccessible - either cost wise or just not outfits normal plus people wear who have jobs and children. Maybe I’m just not their target audience anymore? A belt and dark accessories would have totally transformed it. Putting the collar up or adding a tie or something too. I dunno, I’m no expert but it seemed so half hearted. If you post yourself getting out and having fun, you’re not that sick and if you post yourself lying in bed in pain, you’re attention-seeking. If you do both? You’re not being consistent and therefore lying about your illness.

It seems people are under the impression to be truly disabled, you have to be miserable, housebound 24/7 and silent. Out of sight, out of mind.

I don’t think her ailments ,as far as I’m aware, have been doubted by anyone ..it has just been commented on that she’s either bed bound or swinging from chandeliers for a freebie.

Not quite sure how to reply to certain comments on threads! Minkel: I also suffer with arthritis and Fibro, and I generally hate admitting to that as there can be so many “poor me” posts out there from “influencers“ that can cloud the judgement of others on how these illnesses are perceived. If I had 2 nights away in a hotel I’d be living the fucking life of Riley (Sleeping watching tv and resting) and not moaning on social media. Yes I understand that she may be having difficulties and ongoing issues in her life, but not EVERYTHING needs to be shared on social media! Moaning that life is difficult whilst have it 2 nights away in a hotel, not having a “proper” 9-5 job, and being able to work whenever suits you is really not becoming.
God.., ranting and sharing my feelings is really therapeutic!!

You can be critical of someone and still quite like them perhaps? I do think she is a better example of influencer life - despite her privilege - she has great, different taste for the larger body, it doesn’t seem quite such disposable fashion like a lot of plus size influencers, strong on diversity and inclusivity etc.

Or is that a no on Tattle outside the Rave board? This is a completely genuine question as I am often not sure. Is criticism /gossip always totally negative? Like, I don’t think it is but it may be that’s how Tattle rolls? It gets policed quite quickly across threads - “hi Dani” that sort of thing which is so funny (again genuine) very highschool (I think it undoes any valid criticisms being made as it’s pretty juvenile - and it’s part of why Tattle will always have a smelly reputation).

A few years back she was friends with a friend of mine, they would hang out. My friend was seeing this guy (Also a friend of Dani) but super quietly, not because of anything dodgy but just because they are quite private. Dani cornered my friend and asked if there was something going on between my friend and this guy because she sensed vibes (turns out she’s seen them kissing ) anyway my friend admits it but asks her to keep it hush...a few days later the guy shows my friend messages and photos Dani had been sending him, they were all friends so no biggie but the messages were getting more and more suggestive and then the photos were of her in new underwear asking him what he thought and which one she should post but NONE of them were appropriate for public viewing if you know what I mean!

Was just thinking this exact same thing! If people don't want to share lots on social media, then fair play, but it works both ways. This one now seems to only pop up when she wants us all to like a photo so she'll get paid!! Thats the only reason she came back a few weeks ago, telling half a story about her life being so rubbish. She needed to start being seen so her sponsored posts were engaged with and she could afford to buy some Christmas pressies. So transparent and I'm so bored of it!

Noooo I remember this and I think it happened last year- so basically dani got a collab with Nike and a few other ps bloggers actually, anyways George went off on one on Twitter and basically had a rant saying it’s a kick in the teeth that some fellow plus sized bloggers got a deal with Nike and she as a plus sized woman who actually works out didn’t. She never named anyone but she also did the tweets the same day Dani put her Nike pictures up. Bethany actually called her out on it and basically said you should just be happy for your friends and then Dani did some subliminal tweets about it... and since then no one fucks with her. Typical George really throwing her dummy out the pram
