I got where she was going with the adjustable ankle strap idea, but then the heels were so ridiculously high they were just asking for an alleged to be broken wearing them
All of the shoes that got designed for that M&S edit bar one were absolutely hideous

I bet though you wouldn’t refuse to attend an all expenses event just because you wasn’t being paid to attend and blame it on fibro

Weight will make no difference to the condition itself, but yes - I’m sure being less heavy would help with managing it. But you’re also right, losing weight with fibro is difficult. PSOC is often a co-morbidity of fibro - which I’m sure most will know leads to weight gain/difficulty in weight loss. There’s also the fear of doing anything too strenuous, as the pain that you’ll have in response to the exercise is horrendous. It’s a vicious cycle.

At the end of the day, being sedentary isn’t healthy - but the pain we get in response is debilitating.

There are often days where you think “what’s the point”. You could exercise one day, and be bed bound for 6. Or you could do little and often for 7 days. I know which I opt for, but that’s after 20 years of “suffering” and having got to know my body. Perhaps DV isn’t there yet. But she’s also made a living out of her size, so probably isn’t motivated to work on it.



I don’t think she’s motivated to. Her career is being big, and her whole persona is based on that. If she lost weight, she’d lose her identity.....and the world would see that she’s actually quite ordinary

^ I don't think there's grid posts but when she visits with her parents she usually stays a few days and posts videos of inside their house. It has an indoor pool and the decor overall is just stunning. It's a big house on a big piece of land (from memory they have a private lane / road that leads to their property). It really is beautiful.

Update - just checked her page and there's a highlight "Devon life". That's filmed at her parents house so lots of footage in there.

Oh I know :( and chronic illnesses are not all the same btw. But the exercise in case of fibromyalgia is not in order to lose weight actually. It helps prevent functional disability and ease the pain too.

I didn’t even twig it would be off her gf 🤦🏼‍♀️ Just looked back at it and it says “girl done good” or something. Duh.

I’m on the fence. I admire her for her outlook on size and fashion. But other things annoy me. He gf does look like a 12 year old !!!
