Who else thinks that given how far he got that his escape wasn’t as dramatic as made out either? Rather than hanging on to the underside of a lorry, someone probably left the kitchen door on the latch. Paddington made it further than this kid and he had to rely on a hot air balloon!

I have to give him credit for having his Waitrose groceries in a proper cool bag when he was arrested, can’t be too careful in this heat, if you eat a gone off sausage roll it’s going undo all your escape plans!

An anti-climax to say the least to hear he was arrested having a jolly cycle through Chiswick on a summer's day.

Saw a lax in shitty prison security and was smart enough to escape (look forward to the CCTV of that being released), but clearly didn't plan too much thereafter.
Maybe he didn't think his plan was actually going to work, then was like, shit, I'm out, wtf do I actually do?

Everyone was claiming that he was some kind of army genius with claims that he could even be hiding underground in Richmond Park to avoid detection due to his army expertise (lol) and yet he was just swanning around Chiswick.

I imagine his family and known connections were being watched like a hawk whether they knew it or not at times so little to no help there.

Not as well connected as people think IMO.
