Glad I found this thread! I found out about this guy about 18 months or so ago when he started following my food IG and I followed him back. I then realised he was doing the classic follow/unfollow tactic to gain followers. I watched his account grow at lightening speed with pretty mediocre food and started tracking it on IG Blade and realised he was buying masses of followers every week and also likes. As someone else here pointed out, his engagement rate is really in the bin for the amount of followers he allegedly has.
He also was posting up to 5 times a day (and still does) which spammed the algorithm. As well as this, he also was promoting his posts (I.e. paying for them to be boosted) and also does paid ads.
His whole ‘boy done good, single dad, weight loss, happy chappy’ schtick pissed me off so much that I unfollowed, not to mention that he was gaming IG for popularity with all the underhand shit he was doing.
I’ve just checked his account for the first time in AGES and it’s like a spoof of what an actual foodie should be. He just doesn’t have a clue. This whole assistant thing is creep AF and the chick should have more self respect than to be anywhere near that greasy little man.

It all feels very icky to me too! Especially when a quick internet search shows that his previous (male) staff (for his recruitment company) had to take him to court just to get paid their wages!

You’re the one now sounding creepy.Like I’ve previously stated, I really am not here to defend this guy. He’s intent on self-sabotage if he is pulling these stunts and he will bear the consequences of his actions no doubt! BUT has any one of you thought that this lass may not be in a position just to walk out of a job that she is undeniably being paid for! Not one of us know what her personal circumstances are. We are in the middle of a global pandemic, jobs aren’t easy to come by no matter how well educated you are! (before the comments of ‘if she is that good‘). It’s great for those admiring the view from their ivory towers when the bills are being paid!!
She probably thought she’d found her dream job but hindsight is a wonderful thing. The general theme of this thread is that he talks the talk, think she can be forgiven for falling for it! As for her having a boyfriend I’m hoping he’s being supportive of her treatment on here as well as what may be happening in her workplace!!

Lmao you can’t make it up. It’s just insane. In the last 2/3 years he’s - taught himself to cook anything and everything, no matter the origin of the dish, to the point he can create his own recipes including calculating calories. This was ‘during lockdown’ but that story has developed more and more into him recently saying he’s been taught by many top chefs. Brought out a line of aprons/tea towels that never materialised, brought out a ‘cookbook’ that was actually an e book of his stolen recipes, peddled holidays in his caravan, advertised cocktail/canapé masterclasses, which never happened, advertised his tour of the uk in his purple van, which never happened, been dropped by every brand he’d leached onto, set up a fitness wear brand, that’s only worn by his paid models, attached himself to and been dropped by a gin company, now he’s onto a vodka brand. With glow in the dark labels, because nothing screams class more than a glow in the dark label on your spirits. Despite claiming over and over he doesn’t drink. This is all while being the worlds first and only heroic step dad/single dad.
Stay tuned for next year; when he opens his chain of Michelin star restaurants, creates his own food delivery app to rival Ubereats, buys a vineyard and produces his own wine, starts his own airline, invents the worlds first flying car, and opens a hospital in his name

The latest post clearly indicates everything this guy stands for…Himself! Sympathy to him for losing a family member but why on earth would you take a picture of yourself in front of your car like that, given the circumstances!? The post is 100% all about him and nothing to do with celebrating the life of his nan or the grief at losing her. Either his narcissism has clouded his judgement or he really is that arrogant that he used the excuse of being suited and booted for his nan’s funeral to create a post with him looking ‘sharp’. I think that’s the saddest and most distasteful post I’ve ever seen, what a twat!

This is all very interesting. This guy lives near me. I don’t know him and didn’t know anything about him, but was told a few month ago about his youtube cooking channel etc. Three or four weeks ago I saw around 7 or 8 police turn up at his house to arrest him. No-one was in, the police called his partner who came home and police went in. He has left the family home and his partner lives on her own there now. I’ve no idea what they were trying to arrest him for...I googled him following that incident and hence found this thread

Thank Goodness I’m not alone. He’s a strange one constantly on and on about how fabulous he is to his partners kid. He had the most miserable photo up last weekend about how he was so great watching a match with his exes husband. The new husband didn’t look too pleased. As for the way he recruited her and how he behaves with her is stomach churning. Is she thick? She goes to work like someone going clubbing and all she seems to do is clean the place. Very weird
He’s a massive hypocrite. All his supposed do gooding and charity work, yet he acts this way in real life. The court documents relating to this have been shared earlier in the thread, they’re public record, it’s crazy he thinks he can just sweep it under the carpet. It’s interesting he can do this, and ignore a court order, yet he can run to the police quickly enough when someone talks about him and he doesn’t like it. Absolutely massive hypocrite

That’s unbelievable. Hope the female assistant sees this. I’m taking it a step further. I don’t want to discuss it here for obvious reasons. Chefs work bloody hard long hours. Developing and trialling recipes on top of that takes time and is very expensive. This creep can then rent a studio, hires staff he probably won’t pay and sponge off them. It’s not right. Delighted so many people have joined Tattle over the past 24 hours to highlight him for what he is.

I genuinely think he has a broken, fucked up mind (possibly through hiding his sexuality). He’s always been a wannabe, not many friends except young girls he makes online. He’s had to pay that young girl to be anywhere near him! And ALL his recipes are just taken from other ppl, not one is an original recipe from him. Out of curiosity, I read the article. Hilarious. He was a joiner, a kindly stranger convinced him to keep selling 2nd hand cars. He’s always taught himself to cook at a ‘very good level’. No mention of the Michelin star chefs he’s said has trained him. Everyone wants him to open a restaurant, but he’s too busy making munchy boxes. No mention of the athletic wear line, or the vodka. Surely a perfect promo moment there? No mention of the upcoming mashdad tv. Did he not want it in the media, that he’s venturing out with a woman beater? Who admitted to it and was found guilty. He's definitely buying followers. A quick look on social blade and you can see his followers have 'Gone up' 60k since May. With over 23k 'new followers' in June.. Yet he has lost close to 2k this month. He's such a desperate wannabe. Embarrassed for him.
This man owes a boy from Blackpool over a months worth of wages for his old business called ‘simons recruitment’. The business folded and he never ended up paying the boy the money despite him being taken to court. I confronted him about this on tiktok and he quickly blocked me. This guy is a cheeky muppet and needs exposing. He doesn’t deserve and publicity and people need to know what he’s really about in life.
