I have a question, if it's job is to do with helping Covid then what business has it to be negatively interfering with cycles?? 😳

I’ve had vaccine 1 (Pfizer) back in June but I’m also on the implant which is known for weird cycles. But still a bit worried that some of the changes are due to the vaccine. I completely skipped a period last month but this month has been much more heavy and painful than any I’ve had since getting the implant earlier this year. I had to take painkillers to get through the first two days.

I don't have periods anymore (hysterectomy due to hormone issues)

Can i ask as well as changes to periods have any of you noticed a change to your hormones too?
PMS, migraines etc

I'm terrified to have the jab because any hormone fluctuations cause me serious problems 😢
I didn’t notice anything different from the norm.

Now had both doses and everything seems back to normal with my cycle.

1st AZ jab, period was eight days early, incredibly painful and heavy. Second one after that was about three days early but I have a long cycle anyway so it was about normal, then things settled down. 2nd AZ jab my period was about a week late, but no noticeable difference otherwise.
It is totally normal too, something to do with your uterine lining containing immune system cells I think? So anything that triggers your immune system can cause it.

Slightly off topic but My Dr took me off Microgynon and said they weren't making it anymore so I had to go on Regividon! 😒 I wonder why they changed me off it! I had no side effects at all

Hi 👋🏼 Hopefully this may reassure somebody…

I had my first dose of Pfizer and then had a period that lasted 52 days (could of been longer I stopped counting)! Not ideal when TTC!

I went to the doctor who gave me a course of norithisterone which stopped the bleeding and since then my periods/cycle has been as normal 🤞🏼 He said that it was possible it was down to my immune system overreacting to the first jab but as there hasn’t been any real study on it he couldn’t say for sure. I had the second vaccine when I was on my period and that was normal too and since then I seem to have gone back to my normal cycle.

Exactly what happend to me and I’m on the implant also, but they have been regular until I got the first vaccine

I feel like my cycle is longer now, it used to be 28/30 days and now it’s usually 31/32 days. After my second jab, I was also a week late! I thought I was pregnant as It was unusual for me… My period is also shorter… I spot for a day then have 2 heavy days and then spot last day. I feel like it used to be longer?! Maybe only a day or so but still. I’ve also had more pain with them, backache etc
I’m ttc so a bit concerning, I hope it hasn’t affected anything 😭
