She is one of those unfortunate people who doesn’t suit anything they wear (like Rodney from Only fools and Horses) Everything looks masculine and Beige. Her new Trench coat looks awful on her

Even Columbo wore his Mac better 😬

Her content is so dull, come shopping with me (M&S, Costco or Chinese supermarkets predominantly), watch me eat what you just watched me buy. That's pretty much it. She must be so bored every day. What a life.

I am so glad I’ve found this thread! I have never been able to make out of I like curly or not….my thoughts on her food bank Friday. Whilst it’s a great idea, why doesn’t she actually drive and deliver it to a local food bank rather than chuck it in the bit at the supermarket?! It’s not like she’s short of time. Also, if she really wants to make a decent donation, why doesn’t she double what she gets from her fund? Chipping in a fiver?! Stop being so tight

I totally agree with what you’ve said. I liked her at first but it soon became apparent that she is an entitled spoilt witch. Makes out she’s a food blogger when she rarely cooks actual meals with different ingredients. Whilst any donation to a food bank is welcome, I don’t like the smug £5 of her own money (big deal) when she literally spends spends spends in M&S daily. She’s a bored, unemployed Pampered Princess and it shows in her content. I notice she’s started wearing her Curlys Cooking apron more because people have been leaving comments questioning her ‘non cooking’ and just putting the same old rit in an airfryer

I find the whole food bank thing a bit performative rich person guilt. Her whole “career” is based on spending money. There aren’t many normal people that can shop and spend the way she does.

It also makes me laugh when she says “oh that’s quite expensive”. Babe, you’ve got two houses and a seemingly endless pot of money. Let’s not pretend that you’re relatable ab worried about spending a fiver on a chocolate bar. Especially when you’re parading £1,200 worth of handbags over your page.

what got me was when they went to that ikos resort and complained about the kids- thoroughly enjoyed that part of the thread. then she had the audacity to say she was struggling with the criticism following it. That was tone deaf.

She’s just so dull. I can only watch half her videos before I zone out. I quite like her husband and his sarky comments, even he seems fed up with her. Just get a bloody job or do some volunteer work or something to have some purpose in life.

That was ridiculous and she really couldn’t see other people’s point. How are you going to a family resort and moaning about children? Even if you’re going during the UK term time, not all countries have the same school schedule. Also, there are thousands of adult only holidays if you don’t want to be around children. She just kept doubling down on what she was saying and just came across as spoilt and entitled.

I also think she discovered her tattle thread around that time too. Because the comments on those videos didn’t seem to be as bad as she made out.

Can this lump get any worse. Has a food blog but is doing a ‘series’ on baked potato toppings. She’s just done microwaved beans with cheese and tuna, then fish finger, cheese and gravy made in a jug with gravy granules. FFS Cat, you really need to get a job. This ‘content creation’ isn’t the one.

She’s just not likeable or quirky enough. She has no USP. She’s bland, beige and boring. She’s not even very good at what she claims to be as a Food Blogger. There are loads of great cooks on TT with free recipes, even some with cookbooks that I have bought. None of them send you to a website for basic recipes that haven’t been updated in ages like Cat does

She is very ordinary which is fine, but she doesn’t have that hook or personality to make you want to watch. She was on live on Thursday evening cooking steak and chips.
She doesn’t do anything! She doesn’t have any hobbies and I assume that her friends have children and jobs. She is just able to sustain this lifestyle because her husband probably earns hundreds of thousands a year.

Totally agree, her husband is the CEO of a company so he earns plenty for this lump to float about doing sod all under the guise of ‘social media influencer’

It makes me laugh that she must be THE fussiest “food blogger”! She hates almost every ingredient! 🤣🤣

I think what is really interesting is that her husband seems like a high achiever. He runs marathons and does triathlons yet she is just happy to do nothing. Some couples would grow apart if one is so unmotivated. I’m sure I’ve heard her mention working so she must have worked at one point. Probably pre-Covid. She is realistically set up for life, although having two mortgages doesn’t leave as much money to save for retirement etc.

Exactly this. Her food is nothing out of the ordinary. She’s not creating anything just testing out what others have created.

Do they have two mortgages though? I get the impression that she hasn’t come from a poor background and her husband seemingly makes a fortune.

I can’t imagine what her husband sees in her. She’s not ambitious and she’s not a trophy wife. She doesn’t come across as a particularly pleasant person to be around either. He must have some deep skeletons in the closet that only she knows lmao.

Every single time I’m reminded that her name is Cat, it takes me by surprise. My brain has decided that she’s called Sam and it can’t explain or unlearn that.

Does she eat every meal either hunched over the island or on the sofa? Two houses and not a single dining table?

No idea! I can only assume, but think they would have to have a lot of inherited wealth to buy at least one of those houses outright. I think her parents were comfortable in the way that a lot of Boomers are, but not rich. Most of what her dad had probably transferred to her mum when he died.
I can’t imagine that she has always been like this, but she is privileged to be a kept woman. She is very snooty!

Anywhere she ca have that phone propped up so we can get a close up of her yamming food into her mouth.

How sad that she can’t go out for one meal without filming herself and how rude to whoever she’s eating with. You just know she’s all “it’s my job”
