From what I can piece together-
Business failed and marriage failed at same time around 4 years ago. She must have had both sons with her before that - at least she did in some article I read back in the design twin era. I am guessing here, but don’t think Crystal took the break up and going broke that well hence the legal trouble, go fund me to go to court and mental health unit stay. She said in one of her oversharing stories ages ago that she relinquished primary care as it was what was best for the kids. Not sure if older son lives with his Dad or with her family- no idea.
Obviously a lot of gaps... Maybe thet will get filled in the podcast

I’m thinking there had to have been a major triggering event for everything to come crashing down on her at once though. You don’t lose your business, house, car, husband, kids and sanity all at the same time because you’re over worked and burnt out.
Did she have an affair? Did she have a drug problem? Does she have serious mania/psychological problems? Was she physically abusive to the husband? Was she stealing money from the business? A combination of these things?
All speculation of course but whatever it was it was BIG.

My guess would be that she was stealing money from the business (that was probably never as successful as she likes to make it out to be anyway) and bankrupted it, because of a drug problem, too much partying and an unmedicated mental illness.

Has anyone come across this nutter? She is the one who had the yacht thing Tarah and Danni Stevens went to afew weeks back. And if you go down the rabbit hole you can find some very interesting photos of her with good old bulgy eyes Craig Cassidy. They are all in the same crowd of MLM, Life coaching and spruce the 'masculine ' 'feminine' crap. It's all about Kings and Queens and calling each other 'brother'. All these nutters also follow along with Pete Evans, which says everything. How do these morons think they are above everything and everyone is beyond me. She is clearly unhinged, uneducated and suffering from a paranoia based mental illness. The narcissism is so potant yet they honestly believe they know something others don't because they are so woke. How is it legal for these idiots to call themselves life coaches and rip off people!! It makes my blood boil!

Agreed, I’ve always suspected she did these projects for free (because, really, who would pay for this half-ass shit?) just to generate content and to mine her recipient’s Insta accounts for more followers. This post appears to confirm that. Note they specifically say she “gifted” her time, expertise and even the product! My only question is how does she actually make money to support herself? Because it damn sure isn’t from slapping together tacky DIY hacks. As far as I can tell her only income would be from licensing her name for the curtain range but that can‘t be very much money and I’m guessing she’s already blown that on her 6 month cork house lease. How does she continue to pay the rent on her “studio in the bush” that doesn’t generate any income whatsoever?

I agree with a this. I think there was a reason she slept in the beach the other night in the cold weather.....
She must have got an extremely good deal on the bush studio. It makes no financial sense whatsoever. Why wouldn’t you pay someone to be a shop assistant and sell stuff there, at the very least? Maybe because her reputation is crap with suppliers....

Yeh, that’s what I don’t get. She says she travels between Tamworth and Byron to spend two weeks with each? But she was staying with gramps all that time in Byron but didn’t seem to have the Byron kid staying with her or spending time with him as she would have posted about it. And it seems like ages ago she was in Tamworth. How does she work this in with the dads? How complicated!

I just checked out her Pinterest board and everything she’s pinned definitely looks like residential stuff. Maybe they’re converting a property that used to be public or semi-public and those are the original plans, not the renovation plans. If that‘s not the case, and those floor plans are for the finished house, then it is faaaaar from luxury. It looks very basic, utilitarian and not in the slightest way custom or unique.

I can’t even imagine what these “luxury” projects she’s teasing are going to entail or look like. She has nowhere near the skill set required to pull off designing an actual large scale luxury home. That requires A LOT of expertise.

I guarantee you every architect, builder, tradesman she would need to interact with on a project of that scope would laugh her out of the building. They tend to be a condescending bunch anyways to female interior designers, and that’s when the designer is imminently qualified. They will have no patience for an idiot like Crystal.

You betcha! I work with architects and real interior designers. My god, she would last -0.01 seconds in a room with actual qualified designers.

From what I gather, she comes up with these ‘designs’ ie those renders on that very archaic software she enlightens us with in her stories. They are merely concepts, ‘pie in the sky’ stuff. These concepts would be handed over to the real professional and they take it to next level and develop the detail. She is unqualified, none of it would work. She relys on her manifesting and vision. She would have no clue on how much things to cost, cause she has been specializing in Kmart and ikea DIY. This is where she would be laughed out of the building. Others would have to fix it all up/start from scratch.

She is nothing but an interior decorator. Stick to your beige cushions and curtains, Crystal.
