It's three episodes, just to add to my post above
I’ve read Shari’s book, insane how those children were treatedJust watching..
The Evil Influencer on Netflix
I've added an extract of an article, from one of the now adult children too
It is from 2015, but did anyone ever watch Making a Murderer on Netflix about Steven Avery? I've gone back and forth with this for years now and I still don't know what to fully make of it. I'm not sure if it's still on Netflix (I cancelled my subscription a few months ago) but there is stuff about him on YouTube still.
I've just started watching Convicting a Murderer on Prime that goes into the case more with bits the Netflix series did. I has covered about the cat and I felt sick, having cats of my own, my stomach flipped and he must palmed it off as being with the wrong crowd. I've only got to episode 2 so far though and he is definitely a disgrace with how he treated his family and animals (he abused his dog too).Watched it & still don't know what to make of it all. Did anyone watch Dr Phil where he had his girlfriend on talking about this? She met Avery after supporting him ( from what I can recall, she was a very well-to-do, intelligent woman, a lawyer of some sort maybe?) Anyway, she fell in love with him- called him her great big teddy bear & talking about the wedding dress she'd bought in anticipation of their nuptials. Then next thing she was all over the Dr Phil show again a while after saying he's the most horrible person ever and she believes he's guilty.
Apparently Avery threw a living cat onto a bonfire, so imo, he's an evil b anyway. Whether he's guilty of murdering this poor woman or not - as far as I'm concerned he's an uncivilized b and if he's locked up for life I'll shed no tears. Then at least the poor cat will have had justice.
There was a really good documentary on Disney plus about this:I’ve read Shari’s book, insane how those children were treated
The stupid dad had no backbone. He really failed to protect those kids. There was a really good documentary on Disney plus about this:
Devil in the Family: Ruby Franke
It really concentrated on the impact all the filming etc had on the kids and the insane amount of money the parents were earning.
The abuse didn’t just come from Ruby and Jodi. IMO the dad shouldn’t have for away with this Scot free.
Watched that too - I was surprised to learn Kevin had custody of the children now. I can’t stand people using their kids for content as it is, but those poor children were abused long before Jodi come alongThere was a really good documentary on Disney plus about this:

Watched today, very interesting, looks like Dubai may not be safe for too long. The bbc documentary on iplayer about the kinahans is fantastic
I did quite like Chad Franke’s jump scare Instagram post when this popped up casually on his Netflix. I also listened to a podcast interview with him recently and have read Shari’s book. As horrendous as this whole story is, I do find it really interesting and it is good to see these two reclaiming their narrative, choosing when to be public & private and advocating for children who are forced to grow up in a ‘vlogging’ family.Just watching..

Ah yes! The Daybell case is wild. I listened to an audiobook called ‘the doomsday mother’ by John Glatt in 2024- blew my mind.I also watched another documentary a cult of sin and influence I think it was called on the fire stick so not 100% sure what channel originally but it was also eye opening about ruby and Jodi they are a pair do evil witches.
This also made me watch/read about the Lori Vallow Daybell case and she is another religious mother who turned evil as well!
I thought the exact same! Not sure if it was mentioned on this thread about the Beauty Queen and the Catfish - did anyone else think they all looked like they were wearing wigs???
