Boris has announced a road map with data not dates, except he's given dates
Nicola is being more cautious, no dates given
No idea about Wales sorry
And I dont think Ireland know what they're doing 🤷🏽‍♀️

Everything is still tit

Continue as you were

Eta thanks to @mcfeez

NI have announced a roadmap using data not dates. And they haven't given dates, but they've actually also given like 7 different roadmaps

I hate roads, I hate maps, I hate cohorts, I hate variants, I feel like “variants” is the new naughty step.

“If you’re bold and you step out of line, you get no treats and we’ll find a new variant“

jesus life is exhausting, it must be nearly Christmas by now.

Europe is in a total mess. People are going to feel iffy going on holiday there even if they have been jabbed.
Same with Canada... general population not expected to be fully vaccinated until 2022.

World Rugby are wanting to postpone this year's World Cup in New Zealand until next year because of Covid uncertainty.

You know when you comment on the conspiracy threads and then you think why did I even bother

I had some nutter telling me nhs have never worn surgical masks for long periods of time before covid

I was a bloody scrub nurse for 8 years 😂😂😂

Tell them to walk into an ortho theatre doing a hip pre-Covid and see if they get out without being squealed at 😂

The thing is with a CT it doesn’t matter if they’re confronted with professionals in the field they’re babbling nonsense about. That confirmation bias will kick in every single time.

What I don’t understand about variants, e.g Brazilian one is that they are saying the vaccines might not work against them, it doesn’t make sense to me because in Brazil they are being vaccinated, the most used one being the Astra-Zeneca so how can it not work against it here?🤨

My brother had covid just after christmas. (Extremely mild symptoms, but got tested as he had worked with someone who tested positive)
He a signed up to donate his blood plasma a few weeks ago and was sent a kit in the post to make sure he had enough anti-bodies.
Got the result back today....his blood contained no anti-bodies 🤷🏻‍♀️

It can happen with mild cases of a virus. I have a friend who has had chicken pox twice, both times very mild but isn't immune.

I've been vaccinated against hepB but am still non immune.

Hmmm, I never said that though did I? I hope you read patients notes better than you do posts.
