Brought in to replace Kylie - Lily's mum who her own son murdered! So, obviously, why wouldn't David fall for her and Lily totally accept her as her stepmum....!
I've never once bought into them as a couple, there's no chemistry between them at all.
Corrie has been a boring dirge to watch for ages but especially so just now. Why on Earth would Kit find Bethany, a bit of a kid, attractive or sleep with her (if he has) even if he was absolutely bladdered?! I already hate this storyline.
This goes back a long way... but Audrey and Gail were both with Lewis.

I really hope it’s not Bethany that Kit has slept with but she’s 26 and only 7 years younger than Kit, but she is childish and despite them not being related it’s still a bit icky, your former partner’s daughter.
I feel like Shona would eat David alive. I'm sick of hearing her say his name. No chemistry of any kind. Can't even imagine their characters as friends.

Awful character, though, and I don't like the one dimensional actress playing her.
Not going to have happened but what if it was Maria? She is well hacked off with Sarah and the control she has on Gary, the family is not in a good place. Could she have been the one who met Kit on the way home, he invited her in for a drink and it got out of hand. Much less messy than it being Bethany.
I'd rather it was but it's likely Bethany due to the circle of chaos and betrayal it creates and I hate it! Kit's right - his involvement with Bernie has brought nothing but trouble to his life! As he moved into Sarah's flat and they've now split, I don't see why has hasn't moved out to let her family get on with life - he owes her nothing, the situation Sarah finds herself in now is all of her own making.
Totally agree. There's zero chemistry between shona and david. I've never been convinced by them as a couple. She treats him like something she stood in half the time.
I also don't understand how they imply that shona is a great mum - uh is she? I think not.

I would bloody love it if it was Maria but unfortunately, I reckon it is Beth(any). I thought it'd happen as soon as he moved in.
I started watching Corrie as a kid with my mum. I remember Kylie dying. i missed a lot of storylines when I moved out so I don’t remember Shona ever being introduced. I agree, her and David are unbelievable as a couple. If Shona left I would be quite happy. Ditto David.
Shona always seems like David's domineering big sister who doesn't even like him very much. Always shouting at him and dismissing his feelings. Literally zero sexual chemistry. He has more with Maria.
