It was obvious.
Dying great aunt we've heard nothing about before + male breast cancer = BRCA mutation.
I think it's a really good storyline and something that could be valuable to viewers. Jacob Roberts who plays Kit said he had no idea men could get breast cancer. I'm sure most people out there don't.

The only problem I have with it is that with the amount of crappy storylines going on I just hope they focus on it properly.

I’ve not seen it for a couple of days, I’m pleased to hear they are doing a BCRA story as someone with the gene mutation ( known for 23 years - now am stage 4 - doing okish 🤞 ) I hope they explore the knock on effect of not being told sooner. Was a big one to notify extended cousins especially those who had already had children.
So hope they get it right

Yes, I thought how ungrateful too. Would he rather Joseph can’t go to that school?
Looks like he'd rather Joseph suffer going to Weathy High, just because he's too pride to accept Dev's money. Never mind the bullying an ex public school kid would get going to the local comp, the drop in the quality of his education and impact on his future college/university/job prospects! Oh no, forget all that, Chesney, keep the poor lad in that cramped hovel you all live in for life!

Linda paying for Joseph to go to that school was never fair anyway.
She never did anything like that for her other grandson Jake.
The Linda storyline was stupid. I don't think we saw her with Jake at all and I know Izzy said 'she never does anything for Jake' but they really should have had her going mad at Linda for her favouritism.

Why was Chesney being such a fool to Dev about the school fees? He and Gemini can't afford them, Joseph's mother can't now - what was Chesney's grand plan? Just constantly whinge and moan about it?
I said this!! Dev was doing a really nice thing!!

I was surprised to hear Bernie say she’s had TWO mammograms in her life! And at her age! I’ve had one a year since age 30ish - with a family history

I was invited for a mammogram at 50 and again at 55 - didn't she say she was 57? Should be every 5 years, but I suppose it depends on the area.
