I think it's because they want him to say he urged and helped her to cover it up and not hand herself in straight away.
I didn't get why Kit said yesterday Gary doing this might mean Sarah served no time mind you - that makes no sense.
I think the whole who killed Theo storyline has been rubbish tbh its been dragged out far too long and surely they're not going to have Sarah in prison for god knows how long shes a main character

Richie’s kid is joining and goes to Sally and Tim as a foster placement
They've ruined the whole storyline with this carry on. If they had to kill of Theo it should have been Danielle. I'd have preferred it if Theo had gone to jail for what he did to Todd and Billy.
It's beyond tedious.
Also, when did Kevin get a spare room for Ross to live in? I thought Alfie and Abi had moved back in.
