I don’t see him going to court, unfortunately. Some Corrie source said in an interview that his last appearance is this month. Maybe he will be arrested and - in true soap opera form - locked up for life, but I prefer when they follow through by showing the trial.
Did he punch them in the face and then lie and say the other person started it?

Remember Betsy says, in the flash forward, “It doesn’t matter what you’ve done, no one deserves to die like that…” Indicating the person who died had done something pretty horrible. So what has each of the five subjects done that Betsy would have known about?
THEO
• Beat up and abused his husband, Todd
• Killed Billy (Don’t think B knows this yet. Info may reach her ears at the wedding & afters…)
TLDR: the Todd stuff alone qualifies him as a good candidate. Plus, we know the actor is leaving the show this month.
CARL
• Let Debbie go to jail for killing Billy when he knew Debbie wasn’t driving
• Also knows Theo actually killed Billy, not the car he was driving
• Has tried to blackmail Debbie (over Ronnie attacking him) and Summer (over his knowing Theo killed Billy)
• Had an affair with his then brother’s partner, Abi, then cheated on her as well
• SPOILER has possibly caused a flood in the hotel by intentionally leaving the bath and sink running while doing a runner
TLDR: the murder won’t be about the Abi affair. That is too old news that nobody cares about anymore. For him to be a viable candidate Betsy would have to learn about a lot of of this stuff. I don’t know how much she knows about Carl at this point.
MAGGIE
• Pushed her husband down the stairs and may have done it intentionally causing his death. (no one on the street knows that and they won’t unless Ben’s brother Fidlay suddenly shows up and spills.)
• Caused a homeless man to be imprisoned for something that her grandson Will did - assaulting Daniel and causing him to be hospitalised
• Slept with Jim McDonald having a child that she never told who his father was. And that recently discovered the child, Ben, may have inherited a terrible medical condition that I forget the name of. And never told Ben so he could get tested - did he ever get the results back when he did get tested by the way?
• Was accused by Megan of pushing her down and causing her to “lose “ her baby even though we all think she had a termination
TLDR: While we all know that something went down between Maggie and Alan but unless Findlay comes along in the next two days Betsy would never know. I don’t think anything Betsy knows currently about Maggie would qualify Maggie as a viable candidate for being murdered
JODIE
• Has done a lot of weird things. None of them murder-worthy. Don’t know how many Betsy is even aware of, like not picking up the dog poop and throwing it onto Adam‘s car.
• Possibly been abusive to her father regarding his medication
• Seems to have a thing for David, her sister‘s husband
TLDR: I don’t think it’s Jody. Betsy does seem upset, which would indicate it would be a younger person or somebody she was close with and she is friendly with Jodie but I don’t see her saying that about Jodie. She could have seen a younger person at the scene injured, actually being the murderer… We don’t know everything she says in that interview at this point. Plus, we need Jody there to be Daniel’s next girlfriend LOL.
MEGAN
• Has had inappropriate relationship with a minor and groomed him for several months
• Had inappropriate relationship with a different minor and then dropped him causing him emotional distress
• Possibly has had a termination in order to avoid prosecution and then lied about the termination and said that her victims grandmother cost her to have a miscarriage
• Had fake relationship with Daniel to cover her tracks
TLDR: Behaviour definitely makes her a candidate for Betsy’s statement but I think they will want to do more with that storyline and not have it just stop in two days, so I don’t think it’s Megan, although they have painted themselves in a corner with that character and she’s obviously going to have to either die or go to prison or I guess do a runner which would piss everybody off

In the released photos today, Betsy is screaming by a ladder with possible scaffolding around. Is the person pushed? Funny how Theo was mocking Gary about it.
Are they starting to de-glam Debbie a bit? Her hair is rarely styled and she’s not had earrings in for a while

Does anyone else think that Theo attacked Carl after Ronnie hit him and that’s what put him in hospital? Just seemed a bit random, and the fact it was the following day. Makes me think Carl kills Theo or Theo kills Carl.
Yes, Ronnie looked surprised at how badly Carl looked. Like someone’s had a go afterwards.
