What is the point of Izzy?

Soaps are so annoying. The police surely would have searched Theo’s van, and car if they still have it? Was Kit not still in the pub when Gary said about the bag in van, if not could they not have just gone after him and got him to get it? Kit can’t have gone far at that point if he had left the pub! Also why did Sarah not just get the bag or the tablet and run? Why did she not scream and shout anyway when Theo turned up? Where was everyone who is normally around the street at that point? Did Gary not still have Theo’s van keys, he could have locked the van and kept the keys to prevent Theo getting in it upon his release?

I’m seeing on social media others are confused by Debbie suddenly being out but also the lad kissing Amy when he was with Lauren last, this also confused me but I assumed I’d not paid attention.

Don’t even get me started on why will would call Leanne to threaten Sam most confusing episode ever!

I’m sure ollie was happy with Lauren last time I thought about it too- not sure why they’ve seemingly fallen out?!

Lauren and her face pulling need to pack it in. If anyone had that attitude in my work they'd be pulled in to HR.

There’s nothing likeable about her character at she’s like a petulant child all the time

Carl knowing Theo killed Billy has yet to play out (Carl heard Theo’s confession to Billy’s body).

I’m actually surprised Carl hasnt tried to blackmail Theo, instead of just glomming money off of Debbie. That would be good!

Why was Megan taking pregnancy vitamins if she'd had a termination? She's probably still pregnant but lying because she doesn't want to do the DNA test, in case it is Will's.

I think she only had the termination either this week or last week. She rang up someone to confirm an appointment

In the September 1 episode Theo drinks a lot after his terrible mediation meeting. He later gets aggressive with Todd and shoves a kebab in his face. Not sure if this was the first time Theo had abused Todd but Todd definitely seemed surprised by Theo’s behavior. But a few weeks later Theo shoved Todd into that mirror while completely sober. And now he just spews out nastiness at the drop of a hat. So I wonder why they introduced his letting his abusive side through in an episode where he drank so much, only to later show drink is not a needed factor at all? Was it just them showing the first crack of the facade? Or were they originally going to go for the drunken abusive partner storyline? Theo’s wife said in the mediation that Theo gets drunk and shouts…

Tbf my two abusive partners started their abuse when drinking and it gradually seeped into sober times too. It kinda conditions you to forgive them and introduces you to that behaviour when they think they have an excuse to stand behind. They would also accuse ME of being the aggressor but that i blacked out and didn't remember it - Theo has done this too!!

Glad people are on to Theo AT LAST but don't think they're going about it very delicately, blabbing to half the street already, when Todd is still in denial and under the thumb - even Summer casually mentioning it to Amy in front of random Ollie? In real life that could put the victim in real danger 🫤

Daniel’s acting has been excellent these last few days
Shame the same can’t be said for most of the others in this storyline !

I think Megan’s been really good. She has to switch emotions and personality from moment to moment, depending on who she’s with and how the conversation is going. She (the actress) is playing about six roles at once!

Todd was amazing tonight it was heartbreaking episode and a really hard but important watch. It was good how other characters within the episode both background and main cast all suffered too.

That registry office was a shit hole. Grubby peeling wallpaper, old Christmas decorations, crusty fake flowers. There's no way Todd would've booked that initially.

Who is the woman in tonights ep that they keep showing in the police station am I missing something?

I think she’s maybe going through something similar and seeing what happened to Todd has made her realise what might happen to her too.
