Confused about that phone call with Sam. He answers Leanne’s phone but it was Will ringing to say that he wasn’t sorry and is coming for him

Why would Will ring Leanne’s phone to say that? Was that really Will speaking or an AI bot? Did the call really happen or was it in Sam’s imagination?

I also thought the police interview scene with Todd wasn't very well acted. I do like Todd and his character but I struggled to watch that - Gareth seemed to be trying too hard

I thought he played it perfectly.

Right down to his feet being "bent over" as he was being interviewed. That tiny thing was so poignant to me, he was like a small child scared, lost and confused.

Todd was defeated, exhausted, slumped, feeling guilty and defending his abuser. Totally true to life in my experience.

I'm saying I don't understand how when he had broken free, everything now seems to be swept under the carpet and forgotten about. There was no hesitation, he had asked for help to leave, he knew what Theo was. Its like the realisation never happened.

Watching tonight's, I keep thinking how lucky Todd is to have so many friends who deeply care about him. I wonder how many people irl find that their friends just give up on them, thanks to the manipulation of the abuser.

My friends all gave up on me during and after my relationship. I had to “build up” the friendships again as per their instructions afterwards safe to say I didn’t keep many of them!
