Thinking of the George court situation, would Todd not have been interviewed or even spoken with by the police as George’s only co-worker? Would he not have even been there to back George, seeing as the annoying woman had someone else there to back her? The storyline just made no sense to me. Why doesn’t Glenda give up the huge family home which she doesn’t need for herself for the money George needs? Bonkers!

Why George didn't just turn down the request. Simple outcome.

Yeah i'd like Carl to stay too. Theo is awful and Jodie is pointless. Carl is just out for himself and couldn't care less about anyone else. Even when he found out Debbie was his mum he didn't have a breakdown, or rethink all his life choices, or even blame her for all his problems he just thought, happy days I'll be able to get some money out of her. I think he's a bit of a nasty Nick from Eastenders style character or Terry from Corrie. He's also a much better actor and believable character than Theo and Jodie.

We still don’t know how Todd managed to escape the flat. Surely Theo wouldn’t have just let him leave or, if Theo walked out after the attack, he would have kept Todd locked in.

I'm glad George and co are on to Theo now but it seems a bit out of the blue. They were all up his arse a couple of weeks ago

I think the wedding has changed their opinion because it does appear Todd was forced and they all know Todd would have had them there if it was up to them. Either way I’m glad people are finally seeing him for what he is. As someone else said (sorry can’t remember who), irl people would have seen Theo for what he was ages ago.

Theo’s lovely romanticism of a new life in Belfast is hilarious! The university area with its tree line streets, vintage shops and coffee shops.

He must have read an old brochure from the early 2000’s showing the dream post conflict regeneration. That lasted a few years, then there was massive changes to the area.
New student accommodation being built all over the city. Young professionals looking similar.

Now the area is largely HMOs housing multiple people/families in the same property, halfway houses, decaying or boarded up buildings, charity shops, drunkards, drug use, begging, antisocial behaviour and crime

That was powerful tv. Police should have called an ambulance and rode with him to the hospital. Then got his statement. Patients bleed out very quickly from splenic lacs and internal bleeding.

Garry was brilliant, even down to the gloves whilst holding the wrench
