Compare her to lucy locket loves in england, complete robber who has liquidated, written off her debt, rebought he stock in a different company name and is now acting like she never left 900000 in unpaid bills, including unpaid wages. I have a lot more respect for Constance after seeing this post.

i dont think she ever ending up buying it. I remember when she posted a long a post about being scammed the money for the deposit of that home. Anyone else recall that? or am i mixing it up with someone else.
I think that was a rental she got scammed on. Maybe she didn't own the Margs house? I don't follow her but do live in the general area.
She owns the house but she bought it while still married (her and denim never legally married) so i think it is still part of her assets in her divorce.

She was still married to her ex husband Bill when she bought the Margaret river home. The court case is him trying to secure 50% of the proceeds of the sale of it I believe. He must have contributed some of the money toward the deposit and or mortgage given the court case has made it to court. I really don’t understand how the case has taken nearly ten years to be resolved though. Something fishy definitely going on there.
The deposit scam was to secure a rental. I still think that entire story was made up to make it look less tragic that she was still living with her mum and to probably explain why a supposedly “successful” business women had no money. Just another classic Constance spin. Very Belle Gibson vibes
If it was purchased with proceeds from the book, i think she wrote that while still with him (again I'm not a Constance expert but I think the UK book tour was at the start of the denim relationship?), maybe he is entitled to half of the proceeds? @savefloss might know better!
From what I’ve seen and I don’t closely follow her - I’m not a fan - but I think she’s kept quiet on a lot of the Bill stuff. She definitely has a messy timeline with the separation from her husband and the relationship with Dirty Denim. She says in this article she didn’t cheat she just moved on fast (

I didn’t get or read her book. Didn’t a lot of people get “Queen” tattoos? Embarrassing Wow, to have a tax bill so high you can’t afford to pay it (in the uk don’t know about Australia) she’s done something wrong somewhere, taken too much out of the company to fund her lifestyle and denims? Not done the books properly?
