I was getting really upset by people saying that people who won’t take the vaccine are selfish. Now I can understand where that’s coming from, we’re in a shitty situation and we all want out of it and I can understand why they’d call us selfish. But I’m past worrying about that now, I thought about it a lot and I thought no I’m absolutely not selfish, I donate blood, I’m happy to be on the organ donor register, I am very conscious of trying to not be any sort of burden on the nhs after seeing both of my parents use it a lot through their poor choices (sorry if that sounds off but it’s true, it was a real eye opener for me) and I am not a selfish person in my day to day life.
I’m a pretty health conscious person who is just really scared to take a new medicine that the government themselves say is safe for MOST people, not all, that one version of has been banned from certain age groups in some countries and that while I do believe that vaccines are generally safe and necessary it feels to me like there are a lot of bad side effects coming out about this one as did the Pandermix one and no one can be sure of the long term safety of it. If there was absolutely no potential of developing a blood clot or myocarditis or anything else I would have absolutely no hesitation. I’m not trying to be selfish, I’m just scared. When they first announced the vaccines I had no doubt that I would take it at all, I fully intended to, but hearing about things that have happened to other people makes me really concerned for my own health. If that makes me selfish, then ok.
