She said s at her debrief after Koazy’s birth, they said her care would be lead by doctors instead of a midwife because she’s concerned high risk. Apparently though that didn’t happen and she’s seeing a midwife. I’m from the US so both my pregnancies were seen by my OBGYN, but that’s standard here. If I were her, I would be questioning why I wasn’t seeing the doctor if I was considered high risk. She also mentioned she was goggling the likelihood of this baby getting stuck like her first. You know instead of asking her care team.
You don't really see a Dr during the pregnancy you see a midwife in hospital clinics even if you are high risk, I was under consultants as high risk in both my pregnancies and went to clinics, had extra scans ect. At those clinics I saw specialist midwives on the most part. I saw a Dr once or twice and made a plan with them for my birth and was induced under that for my son. Still gave birth with a midwife but she couldn't leave once I was in active labour. I had a plan for the same for my daughter but she had other ideas and scared me and the midwives with her birth. You then see a regular midwife at your drs. She needs to speak to her midwife about what she was told and she should have been put under a clinic at the hospital if they felt it was needed, as it was her birth that was the issue rather than the pregnancy it could be there isn't a clinic for that but she'll have a hospital plan for the birth. The problem is she has health anxiety so could have been told they'd have a plan for the birth and took that as them saying she should be under a Dr for the whole pregnancy only she can communicate that to the community midwives and she should have done at her booking in appointment then it would have been sorted. She needs to stop googling and start talking to medical people around her only they can put things in place.
I understand having anxiety for health related reasons and honestly feel like a lot of pregnancy appointments here are overkill, but her being so far along it’s just playing with matches not having something in place.
She needs to speak up for herself.I agree with this. Googling will only increase her health anxiety as the Internet can get so many things wrong. For example if you google a broken elbow it'll tell you you've got bone cancer. The Internet scaremongers a lot of people when it comes to health and can be so misleading. I completely understand why she has health anxiety after her last pregnancy with Koazy, but she really needs to voice her concerns with her midwife instead of relying on Dr. Google.
umm, it is extremely rare for a pregnancy to go onto 44 weeks and even bleeping rarer for that baby to be born alive... absolute balls
Exactly, she was like "I don't know can scans be wrong we didn't have a period after taking out the implant so I have no clue of my dates" Sure love they know what they are doing. They were talking like Koazy was massive too I don't remember him being a scary weight but I didn't pay too much attention.
When my mum was pregnant with me, I was 2 weeks late and I weighed 10lbs 3oz. Most midwives expect babies to stay in the womb 2 weeks after the due date before you're induced. When I was pregnant with my wee boy, I was about a week and a half past his due date and the midwife scheduled me to be induced before it hit the 2 week mark. I had him by C section and he was 8lbs 14oz. I don't know what Liana's situation may have been as she went private but I wouldn't imagine they would keep a baby in the womb for over a fortnight.Was he not like 10lb +? That’s pretty big

I think they coach Koazy on what to say half the time as it's always too perfect for the situation. Hate and always have hated how much they have a camera in his face making him perform. Bet they aren't saving any of the money for him when he's older.I think Bluebell or Blue something. The comments were savage, ripping it out of the stupid video. Someone was suggesting Rosie cos it goes well with Koazy
I do think Koazy is very cute but I find Connor very fake, especially when he is "surprised". Liana seems to think she is the perfect mother & her child is some kind of genius. Sorry it that sounds mean but they irk me.
