I’ve got to say I think he’s an easy target for salacious gossip as he’s never commented on his love life. He’s had such an army of female fans for decades he probably feels he can’t come out as gay, that along with his long held religious beliefs. I personally don’t think there’s any truth in him being involved with under age boys.

It's to cover up the misdeeds of people in very high places ie the "establishment", in this case, I believe many MPs who at the time, were high up in the Labour party and or the Scottish Labour Party. The likes of Gordon Brown, who's a widely reported paedophile, George Robertson (high ranking Labour and ex NATO Secretary General) was the signatory on Hamilton's gun license application, and God knows how many others. It was reported that Brown's credit card appeared on the same list as Pete Townshend of The Who when the plod did their huge online child porn sting years ago. I think Alan Milburn's appeared on it to. He was required to resign from the Labour government "to spend more time with his family".

What is really appalling is Cliffs lack of humility towards a man who whilst at the peak of his career was suffering with serious addiction that unfortunately led to his untimely demise. To even process the thought in his mind that being next to an unwell man because of his size *would not be good for his street cred* is absolutely horrific, shallow, rude and very telling of his character. Deeply unpleasant by all accounts and I've never ever warmed to cliff. Even as a child and I'm an 80s baby. Something about him is off. I couldn't believe the rubbish he was coming out with having saw that clip on this morning. Horrible nasty person.

When he dies, it'll all come out and people will say publicly 'oh why was nowt done'. Well folk here have had the fucker sussed for years. A nasty piece of work and I personally believe the assault allegations were true and that there is more that hasn't come out.

I used to to look at a Cliff as a figure of fun, now I find him really sinister. He did a duet with Gary Barlow during lockdown and I noticed how completely dead and soulless his eyes are, like Savile‘s were. Terrifying really.

I agree. He gives me the absolute creeps. Just looking at him makes me shudder. And yes, he has dead and soulless eyes just like Savile did.

The only rumours I can see about David Jason are that when he was filming in Australia, he let a friend house sit for him. The friend and another bloke lured teenage boys back to the house, using the fact that it was Del Boys house to draw them in. They were jailed for the offences. He had nothing to do with it, but this is thought to be the basis of the rumours.

He is rumoured to be a bit touchy feely with female crew on his tv shows - look up his name and The One Show where he alluded to it.

I heard that too...you can't be a paedophile or a predator by association if you're not there, or participating or encouraging it. Whether David Jason was aware it was happening in his home is another matter and it's not been confirmed either way.

In saying that I was absolutely floored when ex-national treasure Rolf was found guilty of being a predator and child abuser. I always saw him as a harmless lovable eccentric. How the public was fooled

The big fuss about the BBC filming the raid was just a smoke screen to hide the fact of what he did. People think that he is innocent because he won the BBC court case about the illegal filming of the raid not realising that this is nothing to do with the fact that he is a dodgy.

Kincora is/was a boys home in Belfast. Its cone put recently that a lot of high profile english folk (no doubt northern irish folk too) visited and abused the boys....who would believe a bunch of lads living in a kids home after all?? The establishment have a habit of locking things away for a stretch of time. Same thing has happened with the Profumo affair. It’s disgusting and like a load of feckless sheep, the British public just let it go on.

Many years ago I met an old guy through my job who knew a lot of well known people. He told me Cliff was gay and it was all an act pretending he was straight as he liked young lads. Sorry Cliff but the old-school (near retirement) coppers I worked with 20 years ago we’re telling me back then what an absolute n once you were. I think that ship has well and truly sailed.

See - this is what I don't understand. If there is evidence that cliff has been up to no good - when his house was raided was the perfect time for the concerns to be raised and investigated. Thats why the police made it so public - to get people to come forward.

And nobody did!!!

So - is it because he's connected to people and no one will talk???

Or - is it because he is exactly what he seems - a guy with a closely guarded private life, possibly because so he's far in the closet he lives in Narnia???

But honestly - if people have evidence - evidence not rumours - that cliff is a badun, please, please, please go to the police.

Please try and get justice for any victims before he dies. Unlike saville's victims!!!

Savile was in with the establishment - loved by Thatcher and Prince Charles for example. I am not suggesting they knew about his crimes, just that people would not come forward because he was perceived to have friends in high places. They (establishment figures) saw him as an eccentric do-gooder.

When I see people being accused casually of being a peadophile, it makes me uneasy. I have heard rumours about Cliff, but I do not believe that in the current climate of openness around these matters that substantial and credible witnesses would not come forward now. They haven’t. The ones that have were discredited. The way the police and the BBC conspired to film live his flat being raided was utterly disgraceful. They deserved to have to pay dearly for that. I am no fan of Cliff, but simply as a viewer that felt such a terrible invasion of privacy and sensationalism. That went beyond the standards you would expect from the police, except it was South Yorkshire Police and the BBC. South York’s police bungled the investigations into Asian grooming gangs and ignored what was going on for years because of the racial dimension, but went all guns blazing for Cliff. The BBC has moved along way from being Auntie and should now be defunded, how they conspired with the police to air this was immoral. They hired a helicopter to swoop in and film. Our license fee money went towards paying Cliff’s substantial damages and legal fees. If Cliff had questions to answer, this was not the way to do it.
