I’m in the same position as you tbf, my bite felt perfect after my initial treatment, then I started refinements as just one tooth hadn’t rotated and now my bite feels really off 😓 I think it’s a case of trust the process!
It's really horrible isn't it. I miss having a normal bite and it's made smiling quite uncomfortable (physically that is, not in a hiding teeth way like before). I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that the rest of your aligners go well and you get the result you'd like🤞🏻.

Wait what!! 😱😱 I’m due mine off soon but I’m very early preggers.. (so early I certainly wasn’t planning to tell the dentist 🤣🤣) I didn’t know this!
Luckily my friend pre-warned me so I mentioned it at the start of my app as I wouldn’t have thought to otherwise! My dentist was actually a bit put out that that was the first I’d informed them about it (even though I didn’t know I was pregnant at my last appointment!). I think you can technically have the bonding done if you’re preg but you’re meant to have the whitening beforehand. You can’t have whitening done if you’re breast feeding either, so just something to bear in mind too!!

No same it would never have crossed my mind! Thank you for the pre-warning 😊

I might get the bonding done and worry about whitening later 😭 Not sure i can wait another year for the actual teeth to be “finished” 😂😭

Please tell me that taking the aligners off gets easier?? I had mine fitted on Tuesday & it's taking me at least 30 minutes each time I want to eat. I had to order a pultool as I couldn't get them off using my hands.

Just thinking whether I actually care enough now as I don't think I can be bothered with this for the next 5 months!

Yes don’t worry, your first aligner is going to be horrible for the first few days but soon you will be popping them in and out with ease!

Thank you! I've had 2 meltdowns already but reassuring to know that it will get easier!
It gets so much better, i almost felt like i was Fighting for my life when i had to take them out to eat. Ive had barely any pain at all after the first week!

It definitely does. I used to end up in floods of tears with the first couple of aligners because I was terrified I was going to accidentally pull my teeth. Now can pop them out really quickly, on the go, without a mirror. Hang in there. It'll be worth it!

Well my teeth didn't get any less wonky 😩 had an appointment today and she seemed to expect they'd be done and I'd be happy with them, not bloody likely! It's the bottom front 4 that are the issue - they were perfect but then she said she could make the whole bottom more even, but that's knocked the 4 of them out so 1 is higher, 2 is lower, 3 is higher, 4 is lower - I have to wait for my next set of refinement trays to come in but might have to have more attachments 😭

That's so good to know, thank you. I was very tempted to call my dentist & say I don't want to do this!

I haven't had too much pain so far thankfully, but I am making sure my cat doesn't headbutt me just in case 😂

Thank god! I'm not someone who can only eat once a day so this makes me feel so much better!

How much did everyone pay for their Invisalign all in? (Top and bottom set) 😊

Mine is going to be £4,300 for top and bottom, including whitening.. I need a lot done to my jaw alignment which probs makes a difference.

I got my refinements today. 8 trays 🥲 completely self inflicted because I've stopped wearing my invisalign for a month on and off whilst i waited for my new trays

I've just been for my appointment too. New attachments and 13 more trays. I was so glad to see the back of the one I've been stuck with for nearly a month. It was very manky 😄. I'm sure our refinement period will fly by.

I've actually got no attachments! Mine were taken off before i had composite bonding. Hoping it really does fly by! This will take my invisalign to a year, more or less.
