What I thinks happened is that, since the other girl was binned and she’s been ‘promoted’ her new work has thought hang on, we’ll save money and Danielle can do it all but we’ll butter her up by giving her a fancy title (like people who work at subway are called sandwich artists) and give her a bit of extra money and we’re still quids in. And that spineless bitch who gloated with her disgusting smug face is now over worked, over whelmed and cries to the dog at night

I think you've hit the nail on the head. If everything was going swimmingly she couldn't resist coming on and telling us how wonderful her life is. I think she's bitten off more than she can chew with this new role but can't admit it.

There’s no way he’s done a decent job in one day. He’s just thrown that decking down on top of the soil (and dog crap), it can’t be secured to anything. My dad put some decking in for us in our old house and he cemented in the posts underneath so there wouldn’t be any movement. Hers will be rocking and wobbling all over once the earth underneath shifts a bit over time. Surely?
