This absolutely PMO. I had all the things she says she has but i ended up suffering from crippling PND with my child. Sometimes your brain just decides to self sabotage its own chemical balance and there’s nothing you can do to stop it. When I was in then absolute pits of PND i used to look at other new mums and feel incredibly inferior to them as I was struggling so much. It’s genuinely heartbreaking to think there’ll be new mums reading her stories thinking i have all those things and I’m struggling so i must not be “made for being a mum”. Honestly her tone deaf smugness is off the scale sometimes

She constantly says about monitoring Lily’s salt intake but she needs to be looking at her sugar intake!!! The amount of sugary stuff she gives the girl! A 9 month old doesn’t need porridge with cinnamon, flaxseed, banana AND peanut butter and then followed by raspberries and rice cakes. she eats more than I do

What is worse is she is a teacher she well knows that some kids are going to school starving I hate the whole broke/budgeting "theme" then a massive spurge on a trip or holiday or none esstentials. If her food shop was too much maybe cut some of the shite syrups etc did anyone see the basket of puree's she has for the kid its one wee one not a family of 8 she didnt formula feed so thats not an extra expense either. She has never even had to pay for a baby sitter it appears on tap.
Stop buying the shite and clothes for 3+ years time guaranteed she'll forget them and come across them after the child has passed the season/size
She used to be so much more relatable and i have kids so followers her age who dont must be long gone.

She also doesn’t pay for nappies or wipes. She has said the big yin parents buy them I’m sure

Also she wouldn’t irk me so much if she was able to recognise and understand how privileged she is. Despite Lily being an accident supposedly she’s been able to take off 16 months off of work and still manage to go on massive shopping sprees every day, her cupboards are always overflowing, she’s managed to make a few expensive purchases, her and the big yins family contribute A LOT, she gets gifted stuff etc.
Yet all she does it moan about how much her food shopping apparently costs, takes from community food cupboards, pines over the fact maternity leave is ending, moans that she needs to budget, tries to blag she is budgeting by having magical gift cards that keep appearing.

Of course he is working all hours; the baby was unexpected. It just shows how he has stepped up to the plate and taken the responsibility seriously.

And the house looks just fine for a couple who both work full time; one working overtime and one feeling the effects of pregnancy. So what if it is in a state during the week? That is what the weekend is for.

God she even sounds smug talking to Lily. Why does she keep forcing educational activities on to that kid at any opportunity. Just allow her to play and use her own imagination, there is no need to keep making that little girl perform like she's in a circus. The wee lamb barely gets out of her bed in the morning before she has to register at her maws home schooling class. She's a fucking nightmare and a bore, I cannae stand her for much longer

Thanks for letting us all know what presents she'll get, whether you will wrap them or not, if you'll have them set up underneath the Christmas tree or in the play room, or perhaps you'll allow her to have them on Christmas eve
She isn't getting a chocolate advent calendar though, she's getting a book every day, because Mum of the year has to push her daughter onto books even if the poor child doesn't want them. My god, she will fill her full of croissants, pastries & the likes, but won't allow her one teeny, tiny, miniscule chocolate a day.

She absolutely missed the memo on just keeping the whole adjusting to having a full time job with a wee one in nursery challenge as real as it comes.

She 100% could’ve endeared herself to sooooo many more people if she was just honest about actually how hard it is to make the adjustment instead she’s too scared to show any “weakness” as that doesn’t fit into her perfect life narrative.
