Also it’ll be interesting to see what Mo weighs in at when she returns to the scales … looks like she’s been on plan with the occasional family treat meal out .. it definitely won’t be 11lbs 😂

Oh I didn’t know that as I don’t watch just look at photos and comments. Hardly the most exciting thing of the century though. We have so much to offer for children here in Cornwall. She just won’t put her hand in her pocket the greedy cow. The Eden project is a lovely place to take children there’s so much they could have done such a shame. Was it only us that that put our children’s enjoyment before our own when they were growing up? Or is it different now? Genuinely curious
We've done so much this week for the kids, ages ranging between 14 and 2. We did lost gardens of heligan, national trust place, beach day, eden project. Newquay. Wandering round the beautiful harbours.

We planned and looked ahead for deals etc, got a family annual pass for eden project as it was cheaper and my parents got in free with us.

We had breakfast in the cottage, took picnics every day ( apart from one day where we had pasties) , we cooked in the cottage most days apart from 2 days. Monday we went out for dinner as it was my birthday and last night we had fish & chips.

I don't feel like I haven't 'made memories' and I know I certainly haven't put on 11lb. I also haven't restricted myself but have eaten in moderation which is something she can't seem to do.

And she thinks she's not a yo yo dieter.

Sounds wonderful Sugarbiscuits… I’d take that over spending the entire holiday on the beach getting burnt to a crisp and sitting a rather large a on a paddleboard while simultaneously saying to hubby aren’t we an amazing couple and shoving a camera in his face …

Aw amazing! Exactly how it should be 😁 so glad you went to the Eden project. The lost gardens of heligan is such a beautiful place too. That’s what it’s all about planning and looking for deals! So pleased to hear that you had such a wonderful time.
Your holiday sounded perfect everyone taken into consideration. How lovely to have had your birthday in Cornwall too.
You can make memories without shoving loads of food in despite what she says, ridiculous statement to make! Like you say everything in moderation something Claire will never be able to grasp.
She’s 100% a Yo-you dieter!

Plus give over Nicholette… she did not look amazing … she lived in one bikini her a cheeks hang out of and a few other pieces that were generally very elasticated and at least 6 sizes to small
Exactly 🤣 how can they say that! Most of got a different pair of eyes than me!

I absolutely loved the lost gardens. We spent the whole day there on Monday, then on Thursday afternoon popped there to let the kids play and have an ice cream. A beautiful place.

We are national trust members so I do like to see different places when we are away, I missed out half the gardens at Lanhydrock though as it was the hottest day and was too hot (especially for the toddler) even in the shade. What I did see was lovely though!

The lost gardens are so beautiful we used to take our daughters there often when they were little. So pleased you enjoyed it too! Sounded lovely!
It’s so good to be national trust members there’s some wonderful places to visit here. Lanhydrock is lovely but goodness yes it’s been absolutely scorching this week so completely understand why. So glad you enjoyed Cornwall 😊

Wow 11lb.... of ABSOLUTLY NOT large! 😅

I dont think she realises how many calories are in one of them, or pastry as a whole. Just because she doesnt count calories its still the only way to lose or gain weight cals in v cals out!
Her ligged on the beach all day is not been active!

She will have had loads of snacks crisps and chocolate as well, especially when on the wine no doubt. Lets face it she couldnt go 10 mins down the road on her night away without stuffing 1000 calories in her!

Exactly! I do count calories that’s how I lost my weight. There’s 897 calories in one medium sized pasty from one of our best bakeries Malcom Barnecutts. On the very rare occasion I do have one I only allow myself 200 calories extra either side of the pasty to compensate.

Yes another calorie counter here… it really is the only way once you understand calories I think it definitely sets you on the right path so you don’t yo-yo …
I can eat things I just do it in moderation… today is Cheesecake Saturday and I will enjoy every bite of the 361 ( The English Cheesecake company biscoff ) it contains … slightly more if I add a scoop of ice cream but I’ve planned my day around it and I’m salvating at the thought of it later 😋🤭

It’s so easy once understood isn’t it?! Going to be honest my treat today is going to be wine later and I will enjoy every sip too.

Slimming world works because it forces you to cut out things that are really high in 'syns' but it doesn't teach some people portion control or how to maintain the lifestyle change, and it isn't a lifestyle change if you keep coming 'off' plan to 'make memories' and put on 11lb each time. To then restrict yourself for two weeks after just to lose it again 🙄 she doesn't seem to understand the term yo-yo dieter.

People like Mo show how it can be done if you follow the lifestyle properly

I’m so happy that Mo has come out winning from this. She has shown exactly how it should be done and deserves all the new followers.
Same here, and she hasn't had to really do anything extra to win!
