The best board game to this day is the 90's version of Dream Phone (the one with the big pink phone). It's vaguely like cluedo where you have a sheet and get clues and have to deduct who it is - except instead of finding a murderer, you're finding which 90's boy likes you 😅

We play it every Christmas Eve, usually after my nieces and nephew go to bed and almost always get told off by our mum for being too loud. One year my brother in law just kept winning and had 4 or 5 boyfriends on the go by the end of the night 😂

Getting my Christmas tree out this weekend, I am so excited to have all the trimmings and spend a beautiful day cuddling with my cats.

The Coca Cola advert is still iconic for me. As soon as it starts and you hear "holidays are coming, holidays are coming, holidays are coming" I get slight chills.

You're not going to believe this but my Christmas decorations fell down from the attic yesterday evening and are now scattered around my home 😅 No tree just yet and I still have the dreaded job of putting batteries into everything but, all in all, I'm delighted.

I don't know why I've never tried warmed mince pies with cream until today, If you see me rolling down the streets I am blaming you lots. Absolutely beautiful!

I don’t even like cola, but I think they have the right idea reusing the same advert every year. Nostalgia works wonders, especially at Christmas!

I was at a wedding yesterday. The venue was decorated for Christmas. Woke up this morning to the courtyard outside the room covered in frost and lights on all the trees.
If I wasn’t ready for Christmas before (I was), I am now 🥰

I was watching Laura Meacham the other day. The Range asked her to do something crafty, so she invited her friends round for a crafting session and they painted some individual houses.
This inspired me to get one from The Range to paint myself. I've always wanted to have a go at this, but never knew what to do.
Something to look forward to doing on a boring day.

I've had something extra in a package the last three Christmases. All from big companies. I've taken it as a win, they rip you off all the rest of the year, have a little treat on them!
One year I got a Tesco delivery near Xmas and there was a massive bottle of gin in there I hadn't ordered. It was deliberate though because it was well packed in with the shopping. I always assumed it was a disgruntled member of staff handing out Xmas presents. 🤣

All my kids presents were always from Santa when they believed. Now big teenagers and still love waking up to a living room full of surprises. I’m lucky we JUST missed elf on the shelf. I wouldn’t have had the patience and believe me, I love everything Christmas, but f@ck that. 😬

Does anyone else feel the main thing missing during British Xmas time is the snow? We never get snow in the build up to or during Xmas do we. When was the last time it snowed close to or during xmas in this country?

Going against the grain here, I love the pea pod decoration!

We also have quite a few other 'non Christmas' ones in the mix like BB8 from Star Wars, a sparkly hedgehog, robot with a Christmas hat, guinea pig, sparkly donut... I am swayed by cute things with faces 🤣

I went to Chatsworth House yesterday, it was so beautiful with all the trees and decorations, the Christmas market and illuminated garden walk. Had my first mulled wine of the season and can’t wait to get my tree up now!
