One of my favourite lunches on a miserable, cold & rainy afternoon is fresh, crusty bread dipped in Red Bisto gravy 🤣
I’ve tried loads of other ones, especially this time of year, luxury ones from M&S etc. always ended up boiling the kettle and getting the Red Bisto on the go 🤣

I'm going to visit my local waitrose later, so shall see what gravy they have to offer in there. I normally only use a little gravy on my own meals anyway, it's just to give the veggies a bit of taste. I'm like a kid when it comes to veggies haha.

I didn't really know where to ask this, but this thread seems appropriate. Which are the better store bought gravies? This isn't necessarily a xmas question, but more generalised to roast dinners. I am lazy when it comes to gravy. I can't be bothered to make my own, even though I'll probably try in the near future, but when I buy gravy I prefer to buy some decent store bought stuff, rather than just standard gravy granules. Not that there is anything wrong with the basic granules, but I'm wondering if there are better quality gravies out there. Just wondering really.
I like the 'best' gravy granules all the supermarkets have a version of Bistos. Makes thick delicious gravy, have tried M&S and Lidl, both very good

My game changer is a pair of electric scissors. Also wrapping at our kitchen island on a barstool, perfect height, no more losing pen, sellotape, scissors, no more backache after crouching on the floor for hours
You can buy electric scissors????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice. I'm gonna go to Lidl tomorrow. I will take a look at theirs. I went to Waitrose earlier and got some of Waitrose own brand earlier. I don't mind trying all different ones though, see what I like.
