I got mine in b and b agree Cadbury it's not great anymore

I started looking at Aldi's Moser Roth range after watching a chocolatier blind taste test chocolate.
It's a while ago now, so might not remember it exactly, but I think he described the Cadburys which might have been Dairy Milk as greasy, lardy tasting.
He liked the Moser Roth one the best which had aubergine coloured packaging and was a dark chocolate. Possibly the 70% one.
He didn't like the Hotel Chocolat one either!

I would recommend the brand, Divine. Their chocolate is nice, but most of all the ingredients are natural and I like the ethics behind the company. Their farmers co-own the company and the profits go to where they should go.

Sainsburys had the hazelnut, the white and the milk chocolate. To be honest they're disappointing, the chocolate is a bit waxy. They seem to be on the lower shelves so make sure you check carefully

I have a bar of caramilk that I’m going to tuck into later.
Currently glad I’m isolating and can’t go out to hunt for all of the chocolate I’ve seen on this thread

I must keep an eye out for these! The gingerbread one in particular sounds rather yummy.

I saw Tony's advent calendars the other day and I'm tempted to get one. It has white chocolate and raspberry popping candy () flavours and I've not seen these ones before.

I've seen that flavour in a full size bar (in Centra and Brown Thomas stores in Ireland if that helps at all)
I'd love to try it as part of an advent calendar or a very small bar though, as it sounds amazing but a bit sickly!

I have two chocs to recommend: the Big Mix tin (£12) from M&S which is packed with so many truly delicious chocs and is a perfect present.
And the 70% dark choc from Green & Blacks which I tried yesterday and thought was absolutely fantastic. It's not new but I really recommend if you're looking for a dark choc which is not bitter.

The Big Mix chocolates are wonderful, they've been out Christmas tin of chocolates for the last few years

I love Tony's Chocoloney too! The pretzel one is really good as well.

I had no idea there were pretzel ones! I had pretzel m&m's in America quite a few years ago now. Initially I thought it was such a strange concept but by the end I was cramming packets of them into all of the nooks and crannies of my suitcase to bring them back. As far as I know, they don't sell them in the UK (unless you want to pay extortionate prices) so I'll definitely have to check out the Tony's!
