She does seem extremely naïve. If I had an expensive flashy car I’d make sure I had a garage to keep it somewhat protected. It shouldn’t happen but if you have a car like that parked on the street (I’m guessing it was), realistically it probably will get stolen at some point. I do feel for her though she doesn’t deserve it

She’s lucky that she got so many police resources. Most people get a crime number and that’s it. She got hours of an under resourced public service! The bank account thing is her own stupidity and probably some sort of tax avoidance! The car thing partly goes to show that you shouldn’t flaunt your wealth online, but thousands of people have had their high end cars stolen so she won’t be the last. My 8 year old nephew is more intelligent than Chloe.

That’s what I wondered. Does he have a dodgy past he’s trying to erase that’s coming back to bite him & she’s being targeted?He could’ve pissed someone off so they’ve gone and stolen her car to get to him
ETA - it would make sense why they haven’t told the police about the blackmailing then as the police would look into why he’s being blackmailed which will put him under investigation (if he’s doing anything dodgy)
