Yep, they live in Toowoomba about two hours from me. I think they only have a few kids left at home now.

I was really pleased when she sent the kids to school and they seemed to be really thriving with the new experiences and friends! Feel like they have taken a step back going back to homeschooling! I know they do a bit of school work but aside from that all they do is go to the park and the library and the occasional meetup with homeschool group! This is a fab life for a toddler/ preschooler but Evan is 11 this year isn't he and nearly secondary school age! He needs more than this! Even if they homeschool they don't do any extra curricular activities like sports or martial arts or gymnastics etc. I think Chloe and ro suffer with social anxiety and feel there children wouldn't want to do these things either and they don't want anything in there lives that are time restricting!

I don't know if anyone else read the Chalet School books but she really is reproducing the Maynard family here, if not in quite the same order - triplets, three "singleton" boys, mixed twins and single girl - just needs one more set of twins to equal Jo.
I don’t know how this thread is so positive, Chloe is a moron and hardly a “great mum”. She’s using those kids for cash, and I don’t care what anyone says, you cannot adequately provide the appropriate care and attention needed to that many children.

The shift from their “values” is interesting. Vegan/ non vegan/ vegetarian etc and the back and forth between home schooling and joining the local Steiner or public school. Those work sheet booklets she shares of the kids doing look so bland and all the work/ activities she shows the kids doing for “school” look so flipping boring and much younger than appropriate for their age. They will have another baby to get to 10. Without a doubt
Their whole life looks boring. They're either at home, the library or the park. I guess that's fine for a toddler, but the older children are 11, 10 and almost 9. She's mentioned other activities for the older boys, but even if they attend it's probably only a couple of hours a week and they go as a group. They don't seem to have any individual interests, they all get a tennis racquet, they all play Mario, they all play Monopoly, there's no individuality or things that set them apart from one another. As lovely as it is to be close to your siblings, the boys must be bored of having no one else to play with. If they went to school they would have their own friends and opportunities to do things without their siblings. Although after being out of formal education for so long, I suspect if they ever went to school they wouldn't be able to handle the level of work and how busy the day is.

I don't know how they'll handle work as none on of their parents work. I don't know how busy the online store is, but I hardly think it'll make that much of a profit with all the overheads. Shipping, Shopify, Afterpay etc.
As if to further prove there's no individual interests, and everyone gets the same things. Here's a list of things Evan got for his birthday and a list of things Otto got for his. Now I know they're only a year apart in age, but there's no need to buy them identical presents, even the parents of twins / multiples manage to find different things that suit each individual child.
Also once again no party with friends, or even celebrating at school, it's just another day spent with parents and siblings, but this time you get a cake at the end of the day.

Thing is she made a thing of saying that they wanted to get them something special for there 10th birthday and Evan didn't last year so got his this year but feel really sorry for Felix as he isn't gonna get a switch for his birthday and you could already see the disappointment in his face that Evan got one. Gonna make Felix feel like one of the triplets and not one of the big boys! The workbooks they do at home are very standardised and boring, they wouldn’t be able to handle the differentiation in a classroom, using the different critical thinking skills you gain in a classroom setting. They’d also be very socially immature compared to their peers and potentially feel out of place?
A few of the children I suspect seem to be on the spectrum, or it’s just being cooped up around your family 24/7 and seeming different to other children, can’t put my finger on it.

I know Chloe keeps saying that they hang out with the home school kids. But they've spent nearly their whole lives socially isolated from kids their own age.
There's plenty of alternative schools in Perth to send your kids to. Expensive, but its probably best for the kids. I've always been against home schooling. Especially as they only get a visit once a year from someone from the Education Department. Which is too late if a kid is struggling.
So taking bets on how long til she announces baby number ten. I reckon before Xmas

I don't know how they can afford all those kids with the current cost of living. Centrelink only goes so far.
No school, they all wear the same clothes, most of their food is beans and lentils out of cans, most exciting part of their day is a visit to the playground..I mostly feel sorry for the older ones. Grossly under socialised and obviously behind their peers academically
I'm expecting it too, now that Birdie is toddling away. She did an age gap post.
