Morning all.
I had such an amazing time. The manics were fab and the killers were everything I wanted them to be live. I haven’t stopped smiling. It felt so normal to be back at a gig after all the pandemic stuff. I’m well tired today though but it’s inset for us so me and mini are chilling and then packing later cos we’re off on our holidays in a caravan for a week tomorrow can’t wait.

@BelleAmie thank you for asking you’re such a sweetheart. I’m home now, still in a lot of pain still a lot of blood feeling a bit sad and don’t know what to do with myself but glad I’m home and just having a lie down. Ordered some burgers & pizza and hoping Liverpool win 🫣 will just take it day by day and try and see the light at the end of the tunnel I guess!

I feel a bit sad and lonely tonight so I’m taking myself out for a trip to the Asda for sweets and/or other snacks. What should I get?

prawn cocktail wotsits
Brookie bites from the bakery ; it’s 2 for 3 pound so also get the mini cornflake cakes or flapjacks
A pack of the caramilk buttons
A packet of skittles
White chocolate fox roundies

I chose a cakey item, crisp, biscuit, sweet and chocolate for you something of each get some soleros to top it off

I don’t read or watch the news! I didn’t know what had happened until I just read here. How sad.

I can’t believe it’s only Wednesday. This week feels so long. Little peaches has Friday off for the jubilee day as the actual day falls in half term. As if these kids don’t have enough time off bloody school.

I’m having a shit week but I can’t even be bothered to rant about it anymore. I’m meeting a friend after work for coffee so that’ll be nice.

@fudgebox sorry to read about your brother that’s awful. Hope you’re okay

another lazy day for me today, it’s payday so might do some online shopping then go out for tea later. just about to watch the last ever episode of This is Us, so probs be balling my eyes out for the next 45 mins

Good morning! I slept like a log last night apart from waking up occasionally to go for a wee. I well needed it after how bad a sleep I had the night before. Mini melon slept like a log as well fortunately but today he’s woke up with a fully blocked nose and his temp keeps going up and down so I’m keeping him off nursery.

Also another member of the no sleep club. I slept for about 90 minutes and have been awake since 2.45am. Did get to finish my book though.

Mostly same-old same-old. Still trying to 100% stay off social media/forums (might have failed this weekend ) and slowly getting a handle on things. Each month is getting a bit better.

I did walk a half marathon a few weeks ago though, which was great! How've you been?

I just submitted an assignment. I always work so much better at night - I wish i was like this in the day

One assignment which I am SOOO determined to do and finish by tomorand my dissertation to go before i am a graduate. Cant wait to get this over and done with. Hopefully without a mental breakdown too lol

so an old school friend messaged me saying ‘we going ndubz or what’ - I haven’t seen her in about 10 years, but we used to bang ndubz in our cars and I can’t listen to them without thinking of her, so now we’re gonna try get tickets in the morning
