Phew, I’m back home after a whirlwind trip. Weather was fantastic and I hardly stopped. I have 1 week quarantine now which is a pain (and lonely). My husband comes back next week and he doesn’t have to do quarantine because the rules change on April 1st. Bonkers!

Glad to hear you had a good trip @Libbylulu but most importantly we need to know.... what snacks did you buy when you were over here!
Lots of chocolate especially Twirl, Wispa, Crunchie, Ripple. Malteasers biscuit/ cake. Quavers, wotsits. Loads of cheese and tea bags. Malteasers Easter eggs, mini egg chocolate bars, Rocky biscuits….. other stuff too. My fridge is full of snacks.
And I was a virgin shopper at B&M & Home Bargains

sleet earlier today but now it's snow. Like what the actual duck is going on so as its my last solo day at home and the weather gods have spoken I'm treating myself to a long lazy bath and an afternoon of reading /napping/snacking before school pick up

Morning guysss. I need some advice.
I had metal braces when I was younger, didn’t wear my retainer, teeth went back to how they were.
So I decided to get invisalign. I had my consultation yday, I spoke to some of my friends about it. I would say 3/7 of my friends said it was a dumb idea, it’s a waste of money and my teeth are fine etc.
My teeth may be fine to some but I know how much happier I’d be if I did it and this is one of the main reasons I want to. My teeth definitely aren’t straight and they will only get more and more crooked because I didn’t wear the retainer.
My argument or way to justify it is - the invisalign will cost near £4000. I have much over double this in my savings as it stands, and I will still have way over double after I’ve paid for it.
The guy I’m talking to said it’s a silly idea but he is onboard because I have talked about how much happier it’ll make me. I was gonna go and pay for it this morning and I’m second guessing myself - should I get another consultation etc? But consultations everywhere are no cheaper than £50 so in my head it’s like … well am I gonna spend that much money on diff dentists just to find out it won’t be much less?? If you made it this far thank you.

I just don’t know what to doI’ve been toying with the idea of getting Invisaligns for ages but the cost is putting me off - if I had the money I would definitely do it. I’m in a similar position re braces/retainer and my teeth are fine but similarly, I would be really happy if I could get them how I would like them.
